22.01.2022 Sandhurst Endocrinologists As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, our practice is committed towards local, state and federal initiatives to limit the possibility of transmission of this disease, and promote all forms of social distancing whilst recognising the need to continue to deliver healthcare in a safe manner to our patients. We will be immediately providing telehealth or telephone consultations using internet technology or phone where possible for all patient consult...s, and also limiting the number of patients that will require physical consultations through our practice. Some instances whereby telehealth appointments will be offered: Patients who are at high risk as deemed by current Department of Health & Human Services guidelines, such as recent travel history, positive symptoms, contact with known cases of COVID-19 Patients who simply require a consultation regarding their recent test results. As the situation evolves and we receive new guidelines, our practice will change but inform our patients and colleagues accordingly. We also please request that all patients attending our practice ensure the appropriate standards of social distancing and make liberal use of the hand sanitisers that are provided on site. We thank all our patients, staff and colleagues for their understanding and co-operation during these challenging times. See more

10.01.2022 Work has finally started on the long awaited extension to the reception area today. We will remain open during this time but ask that you bear with us and take care when coming onto the premises. Fencing is erected at the rear of the building so please take care when entering the car park at the rear! A temporary entrance is now at the font of the building up the three steps. We hope that this will not last too long and we will be back using the usual entrance before long. Any concerns please call us on 0354442173. Thanks Pam and the Team.

08.01.2022 REGIONAL VICTORIANS URGED TO WEAR MASKS The Victorian Government is urging regional Victorians to wear face masks in situations where social distancing is imp...ossible. There are now more than 40 active cases of coronavirus in regional Victoria. The government is also sending public health teams to regional hospitals in Bendigo, Ballarat, Shepparton and the Latrobe Valley to improve contact tracing.

06.01.2022 Given the new advice from the government and the health authorities we advise all patients who have recently returned from international travel to reschedule their appointments until after your quarantine period. Even if you have not travelled we ask for you to please also reschedule if you show any cold or flu like symptoms. The health and safety of our staff and patients is of the upmost importance to us. Rest assured, we will do what we can to reduce the spread of Covid-19. With this in mind please use the hand sanitiser at the font entrance.
