Dawn Swane ( Doring ) was an absolute trailblazer and inspiration to so many . Dawn passed away peacefully on Tuesday afternoon surrounded by love.... 02.01.2022 https://www.nfsa.gov.au//dawn-swanes-home-movies-beatles-p Today is the National Film and Sound Archives Home Movie day - and in honour of Dawn - I thought I would share the NFSA webpage on her - so you can read and learn more about Dawn and her incredible career - this page also includes links to a couple of the home movies they have available on YouTube - there is much much more in the collection . Clips include Dawn on tour when she was a ballet dancer with London's Fest...ival Ballet in the mid 1950's - and as the films are silent it uses an excerpt from an Oral history recording that Dawn made in 2006 There are 2 other clips when Dawn worked as a make-up artist at Granada TV in Manchester making up the Beatles and Micahel Caine In the collection but not fully digitised as yet is various videos made in house at the 3 Arts Make-up Centre over the years
