02.01.2022 To celebrate Youth Week 2020, members of the St George Youth Workers Network and local young people from the Georges River area, decided to launch the "St George Youth Awards". The aim of these awards is to recognise the outstanding achievements and contributions that young people make to the Georges River community. The 4 award categories are:... Young Entrepreneur, Young Volunteer, Act of Kindness and Community Impact These awards recognise that young people contribute socially, culturally and economically to their communities and highlight the theme of Youth Week 2020 - "speaking up, being involved and being connected" A massive well done to all the young people nominated and congratulations to the 4 winners Check out the video to see who won.
