25.01.2022 Merrilyn Sheather Member Number 4, awarded Life Membership at the 2020 State Series and National Indoor Championships Presentation, The Pub With No Beer. It is my absolute honour to read this out. Merrilyn joined 3DAAA on day one of 3DAAA along with several members that were present at the first ever meeting at Attunga 1997. Merrilyn has been an integral part of this association from that day. From running the first ever shoots at this location, The Pub With No Beer, desig...ning the original logos, providing artwork, T-shirt’s and even her own money to bring the first container load of targets into Australia to get this association off the ground. The first shoots were run by Merrilyn and Terry only managing to cover costs if not dipping to their own pockets to cover the running costs for our members. Merrilyn has dedicated a large portion of her life to this association and now as the Membership Secretary. She spends every single day ensuring that new and returning members are joined up and made to feel welcome from day one. Her dedication to her role as Membership Secretary is an example to all members of our current committee and she puts us all to shame with her tireless devotion to the members of 3DAAA. This token and all of the awards from the National Program in 2020 don Merrilyn’s art work. So it is only fitting that I announce. Merrilyn has been awarded the status of Life Member of 3DAAA with effect 30 November 2020 and it is my great pleasure to ask Mr Terry Sheather Member Number 1 and current President of 3DAAA to give this token of appreciation to Merrilyn for her outstanding contribution to 3DAAA not only this year but for all her years of service. Known Class is a growing within the ranks of 3DAAA with having 10 members shooting at the rained out event at Hinterland. 16.01.2022 COVID-19 Update- 10th of August 2020 Congratulations and a thank you to all the clubs running events and applying and upgrading their Risk Management Plans in line with activities undertaken. CLUBS: ... Clubs can continue to manage current activities within local, State & Territory and federal governing bodies guidelines and requirements. It is imperative that the clubs ensure that they have in place their Risk Management Plans before each event and activity. This remains the clubs committees or delegated persons responsibility. STATE OF ORIGIN: State of Origin Event this has been postponed based on current COVID-19 restrictions in States & Territories as well as the current border closures a new date to be provided NATIONALS: 3D AAA Nationals The Committee is still undertaking activities with stakeholders planning for the 2020 Nationals at Nambucca Heads. With our current situation in managing COVID-19 in 2020, we are going to review the situation approximately 7 weeks from the scheduled date of the Nationals and will advise our membership of the outcome. 12.01.2022 It is with great sadness that 3DAAA informs its members the loss of two members this week. Jo Mufale from Victoria lost her battle with cancer. She supported her son Sam through Victoria shoots and at Nationals where the Scoring Ladies did such a massive task everyday looking after all the archers selflessly. Jo is survived by her Husband, Santo and 3 children, Sam, Will and Alex. Her passion for the sport and competition will be missed by us all. Tony Knight, who also lo...st his battle with a very aggressive form of cancer. Tony has been a member of 3DAAA since the beginning of the association as an avid archer, and lately as the owner of Toowoomba Archery Supplies and Cougar Targets. Tony has worked extremely hard to bring affordable rubber to the clubs and has only just recently passed the target torch onto son, Ray. Tony is survived by his 3 children Ray, Scott and Kerri. Tony will leave a massive hole in the hearts of everyone that knew him. From all of 3DAAA please accept our deepest condolences for both the Mufales and the Knights families at this heartbreaking time. Could all Clubs and Members across the country hold a moment of silence in memory of our fallen this weekend where ever you are, at the club, at the home or even in isolation. Hold your loved ones close as times like these show everyone what is truly important in life.

If camping, please sign in on the covid tracing register located at the clubhouse. Please socially distance your camps between yourselves and others. ...
