24.01.2022 Thanks to the guys at 3D One https://m.facebook.com/3doneaustralia/#_=_ for organising the collection and distribution of these face shields. This stacking setup took a bit of fine tuning and I will be making a video very soon on how I tweaked the post processing scripts to add a cold layer to assist the separation. With a 0.25mm air gap It was a fine line between welding the parts together and having them lift up and separate when it was printing. I think I'll actually try ...a batch with no air gap and rely on a temperature break to separate them. This may be a disaster but it also might make for cleaner top and bottom surfaces of the masks with less effort. Currently I have it printing quite well and they break apart by hand. The parts come out pretty clean but it has taken a full day of iteration and about 300g wasted testing and 20x B grade masks that I was able to rescue with some labour. I was able to get the stack to print in 5h 30m and be easy to separate.

20.01.2022 New installation of cura with the stock profile. The print could have been a little smoother but the paint job makes it pop. Next print I'll use a user defined z seam location and turn off combing.
