23.01.2022 Hey all! Thought i would share a little bit about myself for those who are new mums with babys and we cant hold markets at the moment so thought I would introduce myself for those who dont know me and put a face to the name. Im Jo Olive and the creator/sewer of everything I sell. I started sewing when I had my second child ( who is 33 tomorrow) and having had a girl i thought Id start making some pretty things for her. Having grown up with a mum who was a beautiful sewer an...d then my mother in law who was also a beautiful and experienced seamstress i thought what could go wrong. I basically winged it in the early days and then my friend bought the sewing shop in the town we were living in at the time which was Middlemount so I started buying fabric etc to support her business and learned a lot from her as she gave me lots of encouragement also. I made a few things for friends children at the time also. We moved to Emerald and I went on to have another child so sat for countless long nights in our spare room sewing away madly for my three children when they go to bed! I did a market and was approached by a lady who had a shop down south and asked me if i could sew some things and send them to her to purchase. At the time i had my first little label called Picaninny. As my kids got older they like most teenagers didnt want to wear home made clothes. My love of sewing has never waivered and now I literally sew all day pretty much most days . I have never had a sewing lesson apart from sewing at school so im Pretty much self taught. When my first two grandchildren were born I started sewing again and my daughter encouraged me to start sewing for others as her friends would always ask where she bought her daughters clothes from so As they say the rest is history! As Im a mum to 3 wonderful kids the name 3 little olives came to fruition . Every item is made my me and nothing gives me more satisfaction and pride than seeing people wear my clothing or sending me beautiful pics of their babies wearing their 3 little olives clothes.Now having six gorgeous grandkids the littler ones quite often can be seen in nannas sewing! I pride myself on the quality of my garments and hopefully you guys love them all as well ! I feel Very blessed to have such wonderful support for what started as my little hobby. See more

21.01.2022 For the people that are asking what does the dolly bed come with ... the kmart planter basket, a foam piece with an enclosed sheet/ quilt type cover that comes off easily if you need to wash it, a cute little pillow and a pillowcase and a reversible little quilt . All these are made with digital print fabric all with a plain coordinating cover on the back of the quilt.

20.01.2022 Update! So the end is in sight for the finish of the dolly beds so im working on aiming for this coming Monday 25 th may for release at 7.00pm . Ill be taking photos of each style up close over the weekend and popping them up so you can all see which is your favourites!

So Ive done some quoting for postcodes people were asking about as far as postage for the dolly beds with Australia post and Sendle and the pricing was ridiculous either way anywhere from $45 to $85 so unfortunately the doll beds can only be for local Mackay people or anyone living in Moranbah or Rockhampton at this stage. If you are in Mackay and wish to collect you must put in LOCALPICKUP in at checkout and if you live in Moranbah or Rockhampton put in the normal shipping cost and they will be delivered to you and ill message you then for details on the delivery. Im so sorry to everyone living in other places who miss out but shipping costs are beyond my control and wish I could deliver to you all . We had been getting our house ready to put on the market and a contract was signed within three days so please bear with me now with replying or any special orders while we pack our house up to move. 14.01.2022 I hear quite often ‘why buy handmade’ when I can buy cheap clothing at chain stores? This here is the answer. Handmade clothing if made well will outlast any other clothing ! I have seen my grandchildren wear the same outfits the siblings wore many years prior.Today I received some gorgeous photos of a beautiful baby in outfits handed down that her cousin wore. Mum Thought the outfit would have been one i released4/5 yrs ago and I had to look back to see how long it had actua...lly been. Still in excellent condition and As vibrant in colours as its original Condition . So while it may cost a little more it is certainly going to last the distance . Thanks chloe for sending me these gorgeous photos. The IVY romper was one of my faves as it was named after one of my gorgeous nieces . Hands up if you have had outfits or cot sheets made by me that have lasted and been passed down to siblings or relatives! See more

04.01.2022 Not gonna lie. These last few weeks have been long and a bit slower than normal after a couple of days in the cardiac unit. Im all good but i now need to Slow down a bit. The finish line for the dolly beds is almost in sight and after cutting up dozens of foam for them yesterday I was pretty chuffed when i saw them All stacked up. How gorgeous do they all look though. Still hoping and aiming for release next week so keep an eye on my page for details. Ill give you heaps of notice of day and time. Please note also no orders for these will be taken prior to release to be fair to everyone !

01.01.2022 People often say why buy handmade? We can go to chainstores and buy things cheaper! Well this is why. This is my 16 mth old grandaughter wearing an outfit i made her big sister 7 years ago. Perfect condition and outlasted many many chainstore clothes. I can guarantee that . You not only pay for quality garments its quality fabric its cotton , buttons , elastics, snaps the list goes on but more importantly its the time cutting and sewing beautiful items , the late nights and big days sewing, its missing out on other things to get it all done, and its love. The love of doing what i love and the reward at the end seeing my clothing on other peoples babies. That is priceless!

01.01.2022 Wow ! Holy hell! Last night was crazy. You guys went beserk and my site for some reason oversold six dollybeds. I will try and hunt for more but cant guarantee. Thankyou so so much to you all for your support. I did my best to make as many as I could get my hands on and did my best trying to please everyone and make people happy however the shipping charges etc as I said in my comments if people were happy to pay the expensive freight charges I would ship them but the charges... are beyond my control so im Sorry to everyone that not only missed out but the people that live further away that couldnt purchase as a result of the high freight costs and the people that werent happy with me and attacked me no matter how hard I tried to make it all happen and then for my site to go into meltdown as well . I can only assume everyone was checking out at the exact same time. To the out of towners /states if you can get your hands on a basket please pm me and ill do my best to make you the bedding. Ive busted my butt for these doll beds including a stay in the cardiac unit in hospital so please be kind mummas. Sometimes you have no idea what someones gone through to get the end result.
