We'll also catch the Friday Night Footy Fanatic with a look at the highlights of the AFL season, and take a quick look at next Thursday night's qualifier. In the second hour we pay tribute to the genius of Max Merritt after the Kiwi-born Aussie rocker died overnight in the USA. That'll be around 7:40 and we'll check in with the Bureau of meteorology in Melbourne for a detailed look at the weekend weather for the coast.

This is our central transmission site at Mt Misery. Upgrades are also occurring at Mt Hoddle which covers Foster & surrounds & Bass Hill which covers Phillip Island, Bass & surrounds.

He has been around football his whole life, as a former player, coach and commentator. He is a mad St Kilda fan and an all round sports fan.
