24.01.2022 Same, same, but different. We are so excited to announce our new name to you all - de Rose Kitchen. This is something that has been on our mind since we purchased this little cafe a year and a half ago. After getting to know you all and the space, if there's anything 2020 has taught us it's to make the most of today. So today is the day, 3 Monkeys Fine Foods now becomes de Rose Kitchen. ... We strive to create a space that is connected to the community. Connected to the grower, the region, the roaster, the people. We want to make sure everyone feels part of the de Rose family, as though you are coming over for a cuppa and some brunch. A giant thank you to everyone who has supported us over the last year and a half, especially throughout the last 4 months. This community is nothing short of amazing. The fact our staff and I get to come to work everyday and hang out with a bunch of the world's best customers, makes our job a breeze. Lastly to our family and friends - you guys know who you are - Thank you for the never ending love and support, it is never unnoticed We can't wait to start this next chapter with you all. 21.01.2022 * Trading Update * As a small business that *usually* trades 7 days a week and uses local fresh produce, we will be reopening Tuesday the 24th at 6:30am. This will give us the chance to restock after clearing our fridges out on Wednesday night. We appreciate your patience and please note that we are not taking bookings and are walk ins only. Due to the 1 person per 4sqm rule, we can only seat 21 across our entire premise so please consider our takeaway options if we can not ...seat you immediately. 14.01.2022 A dreamy little dinner party in our courtyard last night to celebrate 2020 with our staff and neighbours @hither_yon . Working in hospitality this year has certainly had its challenges. Our staff have showed up with smiles on their faces (or in some cases happily taking unpaid leave when we were under the heavier restrictions to help the business), they've worked hard, brought in innovative ideas to pivot with the changes and have created beautiful relationships with custom...ers while showing genuine care, empathy for everybody's different situations and love for their crafts. We couldn't be prouder of what the team have accomplished this year. - What a treat to be able to work with a bunch of your best friends. (and with the greatest neighbours on earth who continue to inspire us everyday) - Dan & Mandy x
