24.01.2022 Update from South Africa Our self confidence and school support program is currently being delivered as home visits due to the lockdown. We have also been bringing them activity packs that are enjoyable and stimulating for them while they are at home. Yesterday when visiting Lorenzo from the Grade 6 De Mistkraal class, we brought him a books, new origami instructions, other activities to do and healthy snacks. When we got to his home the first thing that he said to us was 'Yesterday I was reading Little Lucky Lolo, one of the books that you brought me last time!' He was very excited about the new things that we brought him to do.
23.01.2022 Greetings from Zambia The Deaf school in Kitwe reopens tomorrow. A small vegetable nursery has been planted along side the building a week ago #selfsustainability #healthy #vegetables

17.01.2022 Child Protection Project in Kenya We have spent some time looking at new projects and are delighted to be partnering with Mukuru Promotion Centre (MPC) run by the Sisters of Mercy in Kenya. Mukuru is a slum area in Nairobi where the MPC run schools, an orphanage, vocational training and rehabilitation for disabled children. 3Musketeers are funding a Child protective project to help support these very vulnerable children, who are at even higher risk at present because of the Covid Pandemic. We will be posting a series of photos so watch this space! First up a background of photos to illustrated the housing.
16.01.2022 First step The new toilet block we are funding for the Ngeny Deaf School in Kenya is off to a good start. The school board and principal had a ground breaking ceremony The toilets will serve the deaf children there 85% of whom are orphans We look forward to seeing how the build gets on.
16.01.2022 Who doesn’t love a nice bit of cake? We have been lucky enough to benefit from the Bake Sale by The Hearing Centre in Waterford We are truly grateful for the efforts and generosity and will post on upcoming projects shortly

11.01.2022 New Project We hope you are all well in spite of these difficult Covid times! We are thrilled to announce our next project for the Ngeny Primary school for deaf children in Kenya. There are 204 children aged 5-15 years old living and learning at the school Below is a photo of the current toilet facilities for the children - 2 long drops. Apart from the obvious limitations of the current toilets the little kids are scared of falling in.... We are funding 10 plumbed toilets and sinks. We hope safe toilets and hand washing facilities will makes a positive difference for the children See more

04.01.2022 Come the end of COVID restrictions we will be heading back to Africa to complete several projects that will assist with water security and continue to support hearing impaired children.
