25.01.2022 3rd Orange Scouts, in conjunction with The Golden West and Orange Aero Club are very lucky to have the Scouts Australia NSW Air Activities Centre coming to Orange this weekend. The region's Joeys, Cubs, Scouts and Venturers are excited to take a flight and participate in ground activities all about aviation - come and say hi to the kids and see the Scouts NSW planes.

23.01.2022 POSTPONED, we will let everybody know our new date as soon as possible. Everybody please stay safe. Our Mothers' Day High Tea is on again this year, Sunday 3rd May at the Scout Hall - Last year was so popular with ssssoooo much delicious food that we are doing two sittings, 10:30am and 2:30pm. Early Bird Tickets purchased up until 20 April are $20 and preschool children are $15 (after then tickets are $30). Tickets can be purchased through Teresa 0419 464 754 or Liz 0437 326 655 or email [email protected] We have already been received a few fantastic lucky door/raffle prizes but we are willing to receive anything that people can organise/donate, just send us a message or reply to this post. 20.01.2022 Scouts and Guides worked together today in Orange for the Australia Day Flag Raising Ceremony in Cook Park.

18.01.2022 As part of the Ginger Pride Festival tomorrow at Wade Park, Region will be having the Scouts Rockclimbing Wall - come down and check it out as well as the other great stalls and activities available.

16.01.2022 Great to see leaders and youth from 3rd Orange and The Golden West Region introducing the Orange Community to Scouts at today’s Australia Day Celebrations in Cook Park.

13.01.2022 Fees - Discussion at 3rd Orange Support Committee A motion has been put to reduce fees to $65 for Term 2. This is to cover fixed expenses such as Scouts NSW fees (reduced to $25 for Term 2) and the costs that we need to pay to keep the hall operational (eg. electricity, water).... Term 2 fees will be discussed and a final decision made at an extraordinary meeting of the 3rd Orange Support Committee on Tue 21 April @ 8pm Want to have your say on fees? 12.01.2022 Fees - Term 2, 2020 Thank you to everyone who attended our online meeting re fees for Term 2, 2020. The motion to reduce fees to $65 for Term 2 was voted upon and passed unanimously.

12.01.2022 Thank you Charles Sturt University for these fantastic hike tents and backpacks we were able to purchase using a CSU Community Partnership Grant. There awesome!!!!!!!

09.01.2022 Hooray!! 3rd Orange Scouts has been lucky enough to score one of the first Bunnings BBQ with lifted Covid Restrictions - Please put Saturday 24th October in your calendar and come out and buy a sausage sandwich or five. This is one of the first fundraising events that we have been able to host this year and we would love it to be a success - thanks for your support.

08.01.2022 This week is National Volunteer Week. At 3rd Orange Scouts, we have 10 Volunteer Leaders who show up week in, week out to foster the development of our young people - to them we thank you. We also have a small group of Adult Helpers who support at section nights, at fundraising activities and on the Support Committee- to them we say thank you. ... However small your act of kindness may be, the impact it has on the world can be huge.
