25.01.2022 UPDATE* We can't thank everyone enough for all the shares you have given our little girl. Unfortunately she still hasn't returned home our hearts are hurting... Our long little 4 legged friends went wondering this morning and 1 still hasn't returned. We know it's a long shot but we thought incase anyone was driving through that may have seen her or picked her up please just let us know. She is loved dearly

24.01.2022 COVID 19 Update Opening hours. 11am - 9pm. Sunday onwards. Our Dining Room will reopen tomorrow Sunday 17th from 11am for dining in with a restriction of 10 diners at a time. Bookings preferred to avoid disappointment. Takeaway meals and drinks still available.

22.01.2022 Seeking people for the following positions - STATION HAND/WORKING COUPLE - MATURE AGED CARETAKER General Job Description... We are looking for self motivated , hard working people for permanent full time role. Ideally they should be seeking to make a career in the cattle industry. The successful applicant will have cattle and property maintenance experience with any other industry skills considered an advantage. The positions would be based 215km north west of Charters Towers. We operate a total of 6 places, 1 in the Georgetown area to the north, 3 places near Charters Towers and 2 in Central Qld- north of Clermont and south of Nebo. We mostly breed in the north, and fatten cattle in the Central, moving between the places mustering throughout the year. WE MUSTER EXLUSIVELY ON 4 WHEELERS This makes for a lot of cattle work and a busy year. In between mustering, we try to fit in a few property improvements - new dams, roads, fences, upgrading waters to solar etc. We have a fair bit of our own plant so there are always repairs and maintenance jobs to be done before the next round. Positions cover a variety of work and the opportunity to learn new skills. We have put some of our staff through to gain their road train licenses and have provided training in other areas such as preg testing. We are happy to provide further opportunities for suitable staff in the future. STATION HAND COUPLE The position comes with a self-contained cottage with wifi, phone, electricity, meat and basic groceries. All meals provided when mustering away. STATION HAND In quarters accommodations with meals supplied at the main house. CARETAKER The main focus of the job is weaner feeding and management including the mixing and distribution of a molasses ration using a large body truck. The applicant would also be responsible for communicating with neighbours regarding the return of stranger cattle during musters aswell as general property maintenance. This position would suit a mature aged applicant as it is a lower impact position but still requires a reasonable level of fitness. The position includes a home with internet, electricity aswell as meat and basic groceries. Most of our places have extensive laneway systems to the yards and we try and educate weaners early on to ensure they are good to manage going forward. Pay is usually based on a day rate, including sick leave, superannuation and holiday pay. Happy to pay salary or on ABN invoice. We are interested in building a long term work relationship with our staff, so provide regular pay reviews and help achieve workplace training and development goals. 18.01.2022 Jervoise Station Conjuboy Road Greenvale Hello camping enthusiast, thank you for your enquires and interest to camp with us.... Let me introduce you to Jervoise Camping & Adventures with a bit of information and our rules & regulations. Our fees as of 13th July 2020: Queen size rooms at the homestead Single - $50/night Double - $70/night Bush and non powered sites$20/vehicles per night. Powered sites (only available at the homestead) $25/vehicle per night Guided 4x4 station tour (approx 3 hrs) $30/vehicle - Bookings essential and will depend on numbers interested and our staff work load at that time. Meals: we love it when campers join us at the dinner table of an evening. We are more than happy to cater for meals with prior notice and the costs will vary depending on the menu. Prices range from $18 - $30 (adults) We have carefully chosen each campsite to give you and your group of friends your own space away from other camps. At present we have 12 sites along our riverbank with full intentions of making more when we find the time between station duties. We also have a few nice dams full of birds and plenty of wildlife to keep you company. If you like star gazing we have the perfect spot for you to camp with wide open spaces so you can capture the whole sky. We have hot showers, clean toilets & a washing machine available to all campers at the homestead. People are also welcome to camp around the homestead lawns where we have power outlets for those wanting a powered site and a great fire pit where many great stories are told. Dogs are welcome, we do just ask that they are kept in your camp area and on a lead should you like to take a walk and theres a chance you may run into other campers with their furry friends. Open fires are permitted at the present time with obvious caution (We will give notice if this changes) and we do have plenty of firewood that you are able to collect. Generators are permitted but please consider your fellow campers with where you set up and the times. DEFINITELY NO SHOOTING OR HUNTING - PLEASE DO NOT BRING ANY FIREARMS ONTO OUR PROPERTY Some of our sites unfortunately dont have running water all year round while others do. Where we do have water there is good fishing and swimming spots. Due to the growing number of campers, we ask that you catch, kiss and release your catch for future campers to enjoy the same. QUADS / BUGGY / MOTORBIKES We do allow these into our property HOWEVER we ask that you abide by our rules AT ALL TIMES 1. ALL safety equipment must be worn at all times 2. All motorised equipment need to be used according to the manufacturer safety guidelines 3. NO riding after dark 4. PLEASE be considerate of your fellow campers with dust & noise (not everyone likes the sound of bikes roaring around) As we are a working cattle station and we use bikes to muster our cattle, should you happen to come across any livestock PLEASE ride quietly and ride away from them. Our cattle are very quiet and wed like to keep them that way. If anyone is found or reported to us by other campers to be doing the wrong thing, we will have no choice but to ban EVERYONE from bringing bikes here. 02.01.2022 It is with much sadness that wed like to inform everyone that our little mate Dusty passed away this morning. He has gone to the land of eternal pats and t-bones. He is now resting in the garden at Three Rivers Hotel, still keeping an eye on his turf. Best pub dog ever. 2007-2019 RIP

01.01.2022 Edit: If you are from QLD you will be allowed to travel up to the cook shire as of this noon this Friday the 3rd!!!! Travelers from other states will be allowed... when QLD boarders open on the 10th Other councils (eg Lockhart and Northern peninsular area) are expected to make a decision on wether that stay closed to travelers soon. This may mean the tip will stay closed to travelers if NPA decides to stay closed. Edit: updated picture to avoid confusion Hopefully we have updates from the other councils soon.
