21.01.2022 WOW. POST 300. A history changing one, we hope. #NewZealand, a country just across the pond is voting on some canna-changing events in the near future!... October 17, voting commences. Even though this may not be our motherland, the plant is universal and the message and legalization will set a precedent for us and many other countries globally. It has been an epic week of learning here at The Hemp Report, not only on a Cannabis level- but a commentary of other botanical and indigenous uses of many plants.... 04.01.2022 GENERATIONAL DIFFERENCES and KNOWLEDGE AVAILABILITY How does your generation percieve Cannabis? IS IT DUE TO THE KNOWLEDGE AVAILABILITY FROM THE TIME?... At the Hemp Report we have a diverse range of generational knowledge and bias to study. What generation are you from? How did your generation see Cannabis? We have Molly who is a Millenial - Then, Kate who is Generation X The period and societal programs that were running when you were growing up, psychologically have an effect on learning bias. But we are lucky to have plasticity so we can re-wire misconceptions that were once fed to us. Although we see evidence from tens of thousands of years ago with Cannabis being used as one of the first medicinal recipes in civilized homo sapiens. These ancient cultures knew the benefits of administration but unfortunately didn't stick around long enough to see the science behind the knowledge they practiced. Starting in the 1930's, not even 100 years ago we started questioning what and why all these cultures used this plant to treat a myriad of ailments. By the 1970's we were further understanding the structure of the Cannabinoids present inside of the plant. Now, we have new scientific evidence being produced everyday. "Not enough research" is said by the medical field when asked why they do not support the use of medicinal cannabis. No longer will this be the case, more journals, more innovation and so many more treatments are coming to light. Denial will soon become impossible!
