14.01.2022 Over-night camping is included in the ticket price of the Weekend of Foraging event. The campsite has a composting toilet, outdoor hot-water shower and Camp Kitchen with a gas cook top, sink and basic cooking utensils. Come sit around a campfire, make new friends and look at the Milky Way.

12.01.2022 Come learn all about Foraging. On Saturday we look at local bushtucker, wild foods from the Coast and the Rainforest, edible weeds of the garden and pastures. Includes a delicious afternoon tea where you get to taste delights such as chocolate brownie made with Dock seed flour, pickled seaweed, weed and feta pie and many more treats. On Sunday we forage for plant materials for fire lighting, making cordage and learn a bit about resins. The highlight is learning how to make ...fire by friction. 09.01.2022 If you are looking for something different for the kids to do over the school holidays we have Wild 1 and Wild 2 Survival Skills and Nature Connection workshops on the 7th & 8th and the 15th &16th January.

08.01.2022 On Day 1, our 'Weekend of Foraging" event focuses on edibles. We look at Rainforest and Coastal Bush Foods and edible weeds. On Day 2 the focus switches to fora...ging for plants to use for other purposes and learning practical skilz. We i.d and harvest plants to make cordage, light fire with a hand drill and make resin.
