23.01.2022 ||ROOM REVEAL - Kitchen|| How it looks now in the beginning - Ah the hub of the home, again seriously the tiles are killing me. BUT again its a great layout, it...'s BIG, and I can totally work with living with this for a few years. ||The Pros|| *Size *Layout Perfect For Reno (no plumbing big changes) *The granite Bench tops are the real deal and while they re black are great. *They installed a 2 pack kitchen, not a cheap reno and it's in excellent condition. *Built in dishwasher *Huge WIP *In love with the built in microwave *We use the bench top everyday to sit at - kids do homework and eat there it's FANTASTIC *Auto pantry light when you open the door ||The Cons|| *The gas cooktop is a cheap shitty Ikea one and doesn't work properly *That rise above the stove argggggggg WHY!!!! *The pendant lights are dust collectors and so SMALL A lot of PRO's so this is a cosmetic part of the reno down the track.

21.01.2022 FFS Answer Your PHONE if you are in Business or at least ring people back OR Turn Up if you say you are going to!!! OMG Going to have a rant here because I can'...t tell you how many times over the last few weeks I have had this happen. Here I am a potential customer ringing you to GIVE YOU MONEY... If you are in business I understand you cannot always answer the phone, especially if you are with a client. But I tell you what just ignoring me is not a crash hot idea. It is really not that hard to ring back someone. text them, email them or just bloody show up. If you book in a quote for someone - TURN UP FFS, I have better things to do with my time. I have an amazing team of tradies on site here for Salt and currently looking for a range of others for specialist one off jobs, but I'm not chasing you once I make contact - THAT'S YOUR JOB to get back to customers. Are you so busy making squillions that you can just ignore potential customers! Yesterday another electric gate motor installer did not turn up for a quote - I was pulling my hair out. Then I rang a great bloke called Andrew from Allegro Gate Automation - Phone 0401 524 311 (Giving him a shout out) who not only answered his phone, but quoted me on the spot and said he would come today. Guess what they rang yesterday an hour later and installed it last night. So within 3 hours of ringing I had it installed - Totally Impressed. My business is based on service, I go above and beyond for my clients - what happened to good old customer service I wonder!

07.01.2022 ||Balance|| - Todays Stagency Tips Balance is usually an an after thought when everything looks wonky or out of sync in a room - you know the when yo stand back... and think "ummm doesn't look right"? Its actually one of the most important elements in styling. If you want to learn great balance here are our FREE #Tips *Vary the heights. A room where all the furnishings or decor are the same height will lack interest. When you place your furniture into your room, put tall pieces next to short pieces *Balance your heavy or bold pieces. Add something on the other side to put the eye over and around the room. *Dont match but blend. One sign of an amateur decorator is a room where everything matches perfectly too perfectly. Dont go for perfection but strive for ambiance. *Less is best. Dont set up an obstacle path with your furnishings and dont cram a room too full of small decorative objects. A room needs breathing space. (FYI: The most common mistake amateurs make is to add in too many dust collectors.) *Play up contrasts. Homes look professionally designed when new elements are mixed with old, smooth contrasts with rough *Spread the wealth. Dont make one side of the room colour heavy or only use one colour for the whole room.
