23.01.2022 Today has been incredibly tough for one of your favourite bathers, the beautiful Kate. She has had to say goodbye to her best mate Tama. It’s without doubt the most heartbreaking part of being a dog owner, they are never with us for long enough Kate and her family have given Tama the most amazing life, right up until today when he told them it was time for him to say goodbye. I know how much Kate was looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow, but Natasha has graciously stepped up to run the bath to give her time to grieve. I’ve just found out about the three day lockdown, this will mean we can’t open the bath at The Moggill Barn tomorrow as planned. The girls and I are extremely disappointed as we were very excited to see you all tomorrow. I’m very sorry for any inconvenience this causes but unfortunately this is out of our control. Fortunately I was not due back to grooming until Tuesday, so at this stage none of m...y bookings are effected and I still plan to keep everyone’s appointments from Tuesday morning as we have arranged. 21.01.2022 Good morning everyone! 2020 has been such a different and difficult year for so many. Through the pandemic I have welcomed a huge amount of new clients and have been so fortunate to be able to continue trading through the restrictions and I can’t thank you enough for the support This means I have carefully assessed and will need to close my books early this year to any brand new clients. I will continue to book everyone this month and from August unfortunately I will only ...have space to work with my regular clients. This will also include any families that were previously on my books if you have sadly lost your dogs or have not seen me for some time due to Covid. Anyone I have previously worked with you know I will always make the time to fit you back in I need to be fair to my regular clients, so over the crazy summer period they don’t have ridiculous wait times and my own dogs and family get some of my attention too. I will set up my normal automated message from the 1/8/20. Of course if any circumstances change I will update if I can fit anyone new in. Thank you all so much for your understanding. 16.01.2022 Good morning everyone, I hope you’re all having a good week As some of you are aware after a few unforeseen circumstances this year I’ve ended up working 7 days just about every week again. I made a promise to my family last year, and the year before that I would start to make myself available to them on the weekends and that’s still not happening. So to give everyone plenty of notice and planning time as of 2021 I will only be working one full weekend a month. This weeken...d will strictly only be offered to my current weekend clients so you will have the option of being on a 4 or 8 week schedule. I have not offered anyone new a weekend position for at least 4 years now and this won’t be changing. If any of my current weekend clients are in a position to swap into a business day appointment that would be greatly appreciated if you let me know, otherwise for those of you that simply can’t get here in the week the one weekend a month is available for you It’s always hard juggling mum life and business owner, you all know how much I love your dogs and seeing you, but I need to be fair to my own family too. So I’m hoping this new roster will be a fair compromise for us all. Thank you for your understanding, Danni

11.01.2022 Good morning everyone! Just to ease everyone’s mind as I’m getting a few questions. In the event that lockdown continues past Monday I will be open and working for grooming just like I did last year. If on Tuesday we are still under lock down restrictions, like last year I will request that everyone possible does not enter the salon. I will go back to meeting people out the front and collecting your pups. This will keep traffic to a minimum in the salon to protect my busine...ss and home. For those of you that we require to stay for your appointment, I will ask only one person per household comes in with your dog. I will have hand sanitiser at the door for entry. The only difference this year is you will be required to wear a face mask as per government requirements. For the vast majority of my clients I can continue to work with zero human contact if necessary so we can keep my business going and everyone on their normal schedule. If for any reason you can not make your appointment or don’t feel comfortable leaving your home. Please discuss with me and we will see what we can arrange. I will be watching the updates like everyone else, and hoping it’s only the three days. But in the event of lockdown extension, we have done this before, and I can’t thank everyone enough for their understanding and support in testing times. Last year I did not have one complaint to the minor adjustments and you have all been incredibly amazing and supportive

Well great news as we all heard this morning, restrictions will lift as of 6pm tonight This means my grooms will continue as normal, however just to play it safe I will request I meet everyone possible on the driveway the next 10 days to keep traffic in the salon to a minimum. ... The bath at The Moggill Hardware Store will reopen this Saturday hooray! As this is outside you are not required to wear a mask, of course you can if you still wish too. However you will be required to social distance. This means give plenty of space to other clients waiting and we will ask you pass your dog to our staff and step right back while they are working on your dog so we are maintaining the 1.5 meter requirement. We did this last year with no issues and the girls are highly experienced to bath and dry your dogs while you watch from a distance. Well done to everyone in the Brisbane area, we’ve had a slight hiccup to the start of the year but looking forward to getting back into it and seeing you all from tomorrow

While I’m understanding this time of year is crazy please appreciate if you forget y...our appointment I won’t be able to get you in now until your next booking. If anyone needs to swap times, again I will need notice because I’m relying on another client being kind enough to shuffle around. Sheba has been my client for many years and her family are my neighbours and friends We all had a huge scare a few weeks ago when Sheba was bitten by a brown snake in the yard, after a grim looking few days, with amazing vet care she thankfully has made a full recovery! We are so relieved that she is still with us
