Being that it is one of the major fundraisers for the day, we ask that you support it by purchasing a sheet of 20 tickets for only $5 and then you get to choose which prize you'd like to win! 21.01.2022 We're excited to see these photos from SEQ K9 Rescue Inc who were one of the two charities we supported last year. They have used the money raised to build a designated quarantine area for dogs that arrive sick (often with Parvovirus) and also for mummy dogs about to give birth who aren’t doing so well. All that needs to be completed is a roof over the top, some home comforts and beds and these dogs will have a safe area to receive treatment and recover. So far this year, the...y have managed to save over 200 dogs (and a few cats) who are currently in foster care or already with their new homes. If you are looking for a new forever friend to help you get through this lockdown period, please go and have a look at their Facebook page. This is something that couldn’t have happened without the sponsorship from local businesses and the support of the wider community who come out to enjoy the day. Well done to everyone involved.

21.01.2022 We are so pleased for everyone at Empowered Futures Pty Ltd who are now the proud owners of a beach wheelchair! The bonus is that they had some funds left over so they purchased a set of wheelchair scales that allows them to accurately weigh the people they support (they haven’t been able to do this before and sometimes had to use the facilities of a vet to access scales). This was made possible from their share of the $21,642 we raised last year. We are very proud of everyone who got behind us last year to make moments like these happen. Our sponsors and volunteers and the many, many amazing families who came along and enjoyed the day; you all rock.

19.01.2022 Due to the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 and the many businesses affected financially this year, we will be taking a break but will come back bouncier and better in 2021! From all of our wonderful volunteers to you and your loved ones, stay safe, stay healthy and we'll see you again soon xo

18.01.2022 Drum roll please... We are very excited to announce that the 2019 4074 Family Fun Day raised a total of $21,642 with Empowered Futures Pty Ltd and SEQ K9 Rescue Inc each receiving $10,821. We could not do this community fundraising event without the many generous sponsors, volunteers and of course those who come along and enjoy the day. We thank each and every one of you who got involved and supported both the 4074 Family Fun Day and Casino Royale with Sellma Soul.

15.01.2022 How good was Julia Baker - The Snake Sheila! She had huge crowds of excited kids and we know there were a lot of photos taken with those slithery snakes - we'd love to see yours! Share them below

15.01.2022 Although there is a lot of parking at Rocks Riverside Park and on Counihan and surrounding roads, we do find that due to the attendance on the day, they are quickly filled! If you choose to drive, look at parking on surrounding streets in Windermere (Condamine Dr, Burdekin Dr and Thomas McLeod Ave) and walk up the path along the river towards the park or there's also Oldfield Rd, Hasp St and Staple St in Sinnamon Park which is a short walk away.

Chad "Froman" Jones, the winner of the Just Poppy's Burger Eating Challenge held last Sunday at the 4074 Family Fun Day, has donated his prize of free burgers for one year... to benefit our beneficiaries! That's over $1,000 value!! All you have to do is place a bid in the comments below. The person with the highest bid at the end of the competition, wins! ... T&C's - Bids must go up in increments of $5. - Competition closes at midnight on Wednesday, 18th September 2019. Winner will be the highest bidder at that time. - You are bidding on one burger per week for one year (you can choose any burger on Just Poppy's menu). The year will commence on Wednesday, 25th September 2019. - Burgers are not transferable or accumulative. If you don't use your voucher, you forfeit that week. - Winner will be contacted to make payment via direct deposit and cannot claim the prize until payment has been received. - The winning bid amount will be shared equally between SEQ K9 Rescue Inc and Empowered Futures Pty Ltd.

As you would see, the standard of entries were outstanding. Congrats to all who entered.
