03.01.2022 On Friday 8.5 HaSS looked at the mystery of how the Moai statues were moved around Easter Island (Rapa Nui) 1000 years ago. After hearing some of the theories, they had to brainstorm all the possible ideas they had and then create a playdough model of which they believe was the most likely method used.

03.01.2022 Today, students from Yanchep Secondary College, Yanchep Lagoon Primary School and Yanchep Beach Primary School joined together with representatives from WA Police, DEFES and the City of Wanneroo to conduct a cultural event at Kalbarri Park. The event included a smoking ceremony and a dance performed by the Cultural Dance Group. There was also a controlled burn of some of the grass trees in the park. Afterwards, everyone was treated to a sausage sizzle.
