A single female can lay 8,000 to 35,000 eggs at a time, potentially producing two clutches a year. The Keelback snake is able to tolerate low levels of the toads toxin, enabling them to successfully eat the smaller toads. In other words, don't harm snakes, they're doing us all a favor.
