23.01.2022 Congratulations to Blake Hill on receiving two nominations and winning a Central Regional TAFE VETDSS Award. Also congratulations to Dongara Drilling and Electrical for their Employer of the year Award.

21.01.2022 Our 2020 year 12 Leavers, their families, friends and staff enjoyed an evening meal together to end a big day of valedictory celebrations. Thank you to Mrs Downes and Southerlys for making the evening so wonderful. More photos of the year 12s special day will the will be posted next week.

21.01.2022 Well done to our four netball teams who competed today in Geraldton in the the UWA Primary School Netball Comp. All teams were very competitive with Dongara Blue winning the yr 5/6 division. Thanks Mrs Jeffery and all umpires, coaches and the parents that transported the 34 girls from yr 4-6..

15.01.2022 Our year 9-11 students engaged in a conversation about mental health with a Youth Focus Facilitator. The session included: Facts about mental illness; Challenges of adolescence; What is mental health/mental illness?; Causes of mental illness; Depression and anxiety; How to help yourself or someone else; Mental illness and suicidal thoughts; How to maintain good physical and mental health. This was in support of our school Health and Wellbeing focus area.

09.01.2022 Congratulations to our 2020 Year 12 Leavers on completing 14 years of schooling. We celebrated their success at a whole school Valedictory Assembly, light luncheon and a fabulous evening meal with family, friends and staff. We are proud of each of the year 12 students and wish them well in their lives away from Dongara DHS.

08.01.2022 Thank you to The Shire Of Irwin and The Town Library for hosting our Kindy/Pre-primary Better Beginnings Visit today. Everyone looked fabulous dressed up for our theme 'Wild Minds & Curious Creatures'.
