08.01.2022 Keep your family safe this winter by NEVER using outdoor heaters, barbecues, or charcoal pits inside your home. LPG, heat beads, and the like emit lethal carbon monoxide which can be fatal in a confined space. For more information, visit www.fire.nsw.gov.au/winter

06.01.2022 Your swimming pool could have a bigger purpose this summer! With bushfire season commencing, we urge any residents that have a pool, water tank or dam to sign u...p to our Static Water Supply (SWS) program. By displaying this free sign on your letterbox, firefighters can identify where there is an emergency water supply available to protect your home and possessions. Contact your local fire station to sign up now and be bushfire ready. #PreparedForAnything #MoreThanFire #ProtectTheIrreplaceable

03.01.2022 Wheat bags can ignite, and are not designed to replace hot water bottles for warming beds. Regularly check your wheat bag for signs of wear and tear or scorchin...g. With age the fillings dry out and become combustible. Only use wheat bags for direct application to body aches and pains. For more fire safety tips visit www.fire.nsw.gov.au/winter #PreparedForAnything #ProtectTheIrreplaceable #MoreThanFire

02.01.2022 Tonight Tanker and Pumper 475 were called to a chimney fire. The flue was inspected and a small fire was found. Crews extinguish the fire and the scene was handed back over to the residents.

01.01.2022 Uralla station is in need of some old cars that can be cut up for our rescue training. If you are in the Uralla shire and can donate any, could you please contact us. Thanks.
