19.01.2022 I just found this mention online and wondered if anyone here would like to write a review? No pressure, but please say nice stuff

19.01.2022 It was a big, noisy and messy class ... just the way we like it!! The newbies and the regulars had a blast. Thanks everyone for a great afternoon

17.01.2022 It was an inspiring and really enjoyable workshop creating our vision boards this afternoon. What a mess! And what a feat to create our 2021 visions in four hours! Loved every minute of it! Thanks Tracey and Mel ... it was a pleasure spending the afternoon with you both.

15.01.2022 Not as easy as it looks! It was a tricky start but it all worked out in the end Thanks girls for a challenging but satisfying afternoon - moments of intense silence, sharing experimental results and admiring each other’s final product. I forgot to get a group pic!!

14.01.2022 I know that you are all beautifully different!

14.01.2022 The first of the new stock this week

13.01.2022 I don't know about you girls, but I'm exhausted and my poor old back is needing a break!! I cooked dinner and I'm sitting back with my feet up tonight allowing Adoring Husband to wait on me until bed time. I had a great time today and absolutely love the energy that this beautiful group of girls bring to my happy place. A big thank you to you all

12.01.2022 This is is my practice canvas with the hole in it (can you see where the hole is?) and I’ve started some embellishing ... I have some more ideas to add over the weekend, so watch this space for something different!

11.01.2022 JOURNALING YOUR LIFE Especially for beginners, this is NOT a structured course, but a coming together of ideas, tips and prompts to help you tell your story. You don’t even have to share your story if that’s what you choose!... You don’t have to commit to every week and can join in at any time. Tuesday’s 2pm - 3.30pm $12 per session Call Roz 07 4193 4979

11.01.2022 No reason at all

08.01.2022 Every year for the last 7 years, I have selected a word to guide me through the year ahead (instead of a New Years Resolution). 2015 - Peace 2016 - Mindful 2017 - Inspire... 2018 - Fearless 2019 - Ease 2020 - Power 2021 - Flourish This year I want all of the important things in my life to flourish - my health, my relationships, my business, my creativity, my bank balance, my self care practices, my life experiences, my education and my sense of humour just to name a few! I place the word in the centre of my vision board and usually have it displayed in other places where I’ll see it such as my diary or planner, my bathroom mirror or my phone screen saver as a daily gentle reminder to stay on track. Do you choose a word for the year? If you were going to choose a word, what would it be? I have three vision board workshops in January so think about your word and then think about what you want to achieve in 2021. It doesn’t have to be anything big or spectacular. It could be something you’ve wanted for a long time but the years seem to come and go and it never comes to fruition. Come and join me for a relaxed afternoon of play and creativity and we’ll put some good vibes into place to bring your thoughts, ideas, dreams and goals to reality. You know where to find me

08.01.2022 It’s my day off and I’m not sure that this was such a good idea I was feeling inspired and creative ... until I took everything off the display table. Now what?!

08.01.2022 I love spending my Saturday afternoons with this terrific (crazy) bunch of girls. A couple of newbies today who fit right in, lots of noisy chatter, lots of laughter and lots of mess! It was like a busy little production line in the art room today! I’ve never seen so much art being produced in such a short period of time! Colour choices were amazing and each piece so different from the last. It was tricky squeezing everything into the drying areas.

08.01.2022 Art was a blast and a half, noisy, messy, funny, colourful and creative. Thanks girls for another great session

07.01.2022 Can you feel it?

07.01.2022 I’ll be open Sunday 27th and Monday 28th Dec 9am - 1pmI’ll be open Sunday 27th and Monday 28th Dec 9am - 1pm

06.01.2022 UPDATE 3 17/09 The trick is to use it at least 3 times during the day and once right before bed. That provides the best results for Adoring Husband. Sweet silence last night, but the day before that he slipped up so there was a short period of snoring. I’m currently sold out but waiting on a delivery in the next couple of days ... UPDATE 2 14/09 He didn’t use it as often as he should have yesterday, so he snored for about 20 minutes - and quite loud - before he went quiet. I’ve made him use it properly today. UPDATE 1 13/09 Last night there was some gentle snoring for about 10 mins and then more of that lovely silence. 12/09 Many of you have heard me having a whinge about my Adoring Husband’s snoring and how close he has been to getting kicked into another bedroom! WELL ... yesterday, I gave him one of these Himalayan Salt Pipes and he followed the directions and I dont know if it’s co-incidence or not, but for the first time in 2 years he slept SILENTLY!! All I heard was the gentle sound of soft rain falling on our tin roof I’ll keep you posted

06.01.2022 It’s Friday! Spread the love!

05.01.2022 What song can you not resist dancing to when you hear it? I have one that makes me grab my Adoring Husband to his feet for a slow dance - Elvis Presley singing ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love’ Pharrell Williams singing Happy always gets me moving

04.01.2022 Three spots have become available in tomorrow’s art workshop. Please let me know if you want to join us!Three spots have become available in tomorrow’s art workshop. Please let me know if you want to join us!

04.01.2022 Don’t forget the aromatherapy workshop tomorrow! Would love to see a full table Don’t forget the aromatherapy workshop tomorrow! Would love to see a full table

04.01.2022 Fancy that!? Roz's Happy Place (and once The Happy Abode) has been in existence for THREE YEARS! While 'Lucky' the turquoise buddha still holds his welcoming spot in the centre of the table, there have been many changes. I still feel the same thrill today when I walk through the doors each morning as I did way back in the beginning.... I always imagined this could be a community hub where people would gather, friendships would be formed, creativity would be nurtured, retail therapy would be practiced and all forms of natural healing would be available. My gratitude is overwhelming for: * this supportive community * my regulars who bring positive energy into the shop every day * my friend Annemarie who has taken me (and many others) on a journey of self discovery and acceptance every week * my girls (you know who you are) * my x-biz partner Tracey who 'saw the vision' and helped us create it * local businesses who have been there for me in many different ways * annual holiday-makers who enjoy spending their hard earned cash which supports me AND this community * my neighbours 'Alfie and Conan' who serve and protect * the staff in Elders Real Estate who have looked after us so well * LAST, BUT NOT LEAST ... my Adoring Husband who nurtures, supports, protects and assists me in so many ways and with so much love, admiration and pride. He makes a huge difference to the running of this business and makes life in general easy breezy for me. I hit the jackpot when he found me So here's to more wonderful years as Roz's Happy Place. You never know what life has in store for you, so I will make the most of this remarkable experience, and enjoy you all while it lasts. Big warm squishy hugs from me (while practicing social distancing of course!)

03.01.2022 Fast approaching!!

03.01.2022 I’m excited about what 2021 will bring and spending time with my Happy Place friends, old and new! Big love to you all.

03.01.2022 I'm quite looking forward to this!

01.01.2022 Done! AND... as a reward, I came home and enjoyed my first swim in the pool for the season (I was productive and scrubbed the Winter ring around the tub while I was in there) The water was a pleasurable 28C

01.01.2022 I don’t know why, but I really like Thursdays! Have a marvellous day!
