20.01.2022 I will not comment on GMH’s withdrawal from Australia, you have no doubt seen and heard all the reasons why. What I would like to say is that these cars were truly Australia’s first mass produced vehicles with a style that was functional and roomy, something Australia needed at the time to help forge its blossoming National Pride and Culture. These vehicles are indeed special, if for no other reason than the memories people have of them. They will keep giving pleasure to many people and families well into the future. It is up to us to ensure these vehicles are maintained, appreciated and not forgotten.

19.01.2022 Unfortunately, I have to inform members of the 48 & FJ Holden Owners Club of NSW Inc. that all meetings and runs have been suspended until October. We will notify members of any updates or changes via emails, facebook or phone. Hopefully the Coronavirus situation will improve and we are able to meet soon. Look after yourselves and stay healthy everyone.

11.01.2022 I think that this was the first meeting with the extended route around the tree and the dam....Oran Park. The Cream car was oversteering really badly compared with the rest of the field....so I kept my camera ready each lap as it came over the skyline...sideways. The result its obvious. Thanks to Lance Seymour for the photos.
