25.01.2022 Smaller boots to cater for ponies. All the same benefits as the regular Scoot boots.

23.01.2022 Best wishes for 2018 unshod riders! I’m putting in an order for boots in about 2 weeks time, so please get in touch if you’re thinking of buying, or would like a fitting. Scoot Boots have put their prices up by $20/pair, and increased the minimum order for resellers at the end of 2017.... I will however, continue to sell at the same prices as last year for as long as feasible. (I may have to review this once my current stock has sold.) See more

16.01.2022 ScootBoots have changed the design slightly, so now the normal width boots will have same the lower side vents as the Slims (vent level with sole). This is to improve drainage and to avoid the boot snagging on the sides of the hoof when putting them on. I'd be glad of any feedback on how you find the new design performs compared to the original model. To avoid wastage, the boots will now only come with black straps (for the same price ).

14.01.2022 All booted up and ready to go...

13.01.2022 I think I need to post a price list. These prices are for clients who's horses I have fitted boots for and/or trimmed. I will not sell to you if I have not seen your horse. If you would like to try ScootBoots and are too far out of my area, I am happy to try to link you up with another trimmer/fitter, or you can visit the official Scootboots website at www.scootboots.com.au

11.01.2022 "Today, we have exceptional diagnostic equipment that supports the scientific research proving horses should not have steel nailed to their hooves. Most horse people would now agree that the hoof is a highly vascular construction, and pumps blood very much like the heart does."

09.01.2022 Scoot Boot "Minis" are now available in Australia for ponies. They go small enough to fit hooves measuring 80 mm long x 75 mm wide. Price is the same as the regular boots.

05.01.2022 The new "Slims" are now in stock. Available in sizes 1-4; they are the same length as the standard sizes, but 10 mm narrower. They come with black front straps, black, purple, turquoise and lime-green pastern straps, a pair of trail gaiters, and the usual spare front straps and brass hardware.

04.01.2022 Great news for equines with dainty little feet... Scoot Boots will be avilable in sizes 00, and 000 in the New Year!

03.01.2022 Scootboots are now available in size 9! Also, the slim fitting boots will be available in another 3 weeks or so, although I'm not sure yet whether these will cover all sizes.

03.01.2022 I am now offering an affordable ($15) Faecal Egg Count service for horses and sheep, in the Wingham area. Current research shows that strategic worming is critical in preventing the worms on your property developing resistance to de-worming drugs. Identifying any animals which are shedding large numbers of worm eggs allows owners to drench only those animals which really need it. This approach will save you money, prolong the usefulness of current drenches, and reduce the s...ide-effects for the environment. Comparing pre- and post-worming faecal egg counts will also show whether the de-wormer you are using is effective for your animals. I will count Strongyles (redworm) eggs in horses, and Haemonchus (Barbers pole worm)/Trichostrongylus (Black scour worm) eggs in sheep. I will also report on any other findings such as Parascaris eggs in foals. Please msg me for more information.

03.01.2022 Gregory Sokoloski (Houston Mounted Police, Texas USA) says "Rainy day in Houston is no problem for the police horses in Scoot Boots"
