24.01.2022 Happy Halloween We had a great day on Thursday catching up with friends, showing off our spooky costumes, dancing, eating and just enjoying ourselves thoroughly. A big thank you to our new DJ Tom who played all of our favourite tunes, all the chefs who made delicious lunch, and the teams who helped set up and set down! Your skills in making such great events happen are amazing ... A special mention to Scotty who performed his favourite self written rap for all of us. A lovely coincidence that his favourite rap song is about zombies

21.01.2022 What an awesome day thank you to everyone who came down!

20.01.2022 The winners of the Melbourne Cup 2020 are Congratulations Tracey, Kylie and Shannon on picking some winners! Our fun-filled day included playing horse racing games, getting the karaoke machine going to sing a few songs, dancing and enjoying some delicious food.... A big thanks to Jade, Danielle, Ben and to everyone else for all the laughter and smiles everyone shared together

16.01.2022 Such a picture perfect day to be out on the water in Mandurah We definitely made some great memories with our friends yesterday when we walked around the Mandruah foreshore and steered our own boats on a cruise in the canal. It was great getting around part of our community that we don't often visit, finding yummy lunch spots and beautiful Christmas decorations. Yesterday happened to also be a lovely way to say "farewell" to Gill who has been a support worker with us for ov...er 7 years. We'll fondly remember her sense of humour, her louder than life costumes at dress up parties, fun-tastic Fitness Kicks sessions and most of all her big heart. From all of us, all the best for your next adventure Gill

05.01.2022 One of the new fun things we've found to do in the Gosnells area is learning archery! Not only is archery good exercise but it helps us get outdoors and connect with each other. Jordan and Shannon have particularly been enjoying supporting each other to learn new skills and seem to have created a lovely new friendship along the way.

01.01.2022 Well done Liam If you've been around our South Area, you may have heard about Liam's awesome new project. He has been putting his passion for woodwork to work () and is building up a small business for himself! This Month Liam’s Giant Jenga project took off with 4 orders and one customer wanting a handmade box. Liam really enjoyed going to Bunnings and getting his supplies and then with his PPE on, Liam was eager to get to work.... Liam was very focused on the sanding and making sure the planks of wood were smooth before coating them with clear coat. Everyone who has played Jenga knows how important it is to minimise friction between the pieces Once the pieces were nice and dry Liam assisted to mark the planks to the correct length so they could be cut. Liam then gave them a light sand to finish and then it was onto the box. Liam once again marked the wood to length before his Support Worker cut it. With the lay out right, Liam drilled pilot holes in the wood before screwing in the screws so they didn’t split the wood. Great job, Liam

01.01.2022 Well done Ryan We're thrilled for Ryan who has been working hard to create a healthier lifestyle for himself! He has been committed to regular exercise and is getting very good at finding alternative recipes that are healthy but taste a little naughty Those of you who have met Ryan know he has a great sense of humour and that he knows how to have a laugh.... Recently Ryan captured the audience of a few lovely young ladies from Bounce Trampoline Cannington and showed them some of the exercises and stretches he has learned. It sure looks like Ryan knows how to make keeping healthy fun!
