24.01.2022 Our newest member of the 4Mile gang, ROADY. This week’s visitors to the farm have loved meeting this little guy who was thankfully saved from the side of the road out west near Emerald. Pretty sure he loves 4Mile and has settled in here very well.

22.01.2022 Hello Mums & Minis, hopefully you have had a chance to visit the farm Next term I can only offer the following days and times. Here is the info- 4Mile MUMS & MINIS for Term 4... WHAT: An outdoor mothers group on the farm. Our 4Mile staff will take the small group of children to visit all our different farm animals. Each session the group will build skills and confidence with our gorgeous ponies from the ground as well as interact and feed all the animals. Mums are welcome to have a catch up, and a cuppa at the smoko shed with the other mums or to stay with their child around the farm. Where: 4Mile Farm, Gracemere When- Term 4, 2020: Monday’s 12.30-1.30 Tuesdays 1.00-2.00 Thursday’s 9.30-10.30 & 11.00-12.00 FOR: Children not yet at school age. Duration: 1 hour session Cost: $125 for the 5 week block or $200 for the full term, paid up front. (Sessions will only be refunded if we cancel the session at our end due to extreme weather) Book in for the 5 week block or get the discounted term block. 21.01.2022 Fun Friday for the Mundt kiddos! They have all come so far in so many aspects and I think the sibling rivalry helps motivate and keep them going what a great way to end the week!

20.01.2022 Term 4 riding lessons here at 4Mile are filling up fast! I offer weekly and fortnightly lessons, private ($75) and group ($55) Monday- Saturday Each lesson is an hour, however for my little ones sometimes half an hour is enough We have an amazing team of horses and coaches to suit everyone. We have the horses and gear- all you need to do is turn up. We are starting lessons in term 4 in the coolness of the morning at 6am and finishing in the coolness of the evening at ...8.15pm missing the middle of the day heat! I have a great team of riding coaches specialising in a diverse range of disciplines, catering for all ages and abilities. We also cater for NDIS individuals and groups. 20.01.2022 Our chicken are hatching! we have a Cross system on our eggs so if you are visiting 4Mile please don’t collect any eggs with crosses on them as they are about to hatch or are hatching. If you are visiting tomorrow have a look in the coop and see what Honey Soy Chicken has hatched and I’d say Honey Chicken and Charcoal Chicken aren’t far behind also keep an eye out for our 4 beautiful Goslings

20.01.2022 Everyone meet our newest member of the 4Mile team, Valentine! This horse was purchased for our riding school to take our heavier riders. He is in full feed and work and his fitness is improving, he has a wonderful nature and a brilliant support team around him as do all our school horses to keep healthy and safe. I work closely with my dentist, vets, farrier and equine mechanic to help our horses through the work load of our busy riding school. I now have a weight lim...it of 100kg thanks to this beautiful solid boy but I will also manage his workload very closely. Please respect my rules of our weight limit out here at 4Mile purely for the protection of our beautiful school horses who get multiple Leasons a day. HOWEVER IF YOU ARE OVER 100kg please enquire about our fantastic SADDLE CLUB program we offer people who can’t ride or prefer not to ride for what ever reason. See more

15.01.2022 I normally have all my ducks in a row but at the moment i only have chickens That’s the thing though, take it as it comes, work with what you have and throw your life on the line for what you love, believe in and you are passionate about. And For that reason I’m happy my chickens are in a row because I’m so excited about term 4 at 4Mile, my passion, my dream, my life. Early starts and late finishes will see in and see out the beauty of each day during term 4. Our lesso...ns have been booked in and start at 6am. We have some amazing projects on the cards for my visiting groups as well as implementation of a brand new program. I have a few new staff and a very experienced lady stepping into management (Finally I am throwing the reins across it’s a big step for me and my 4Mile baby). I will work very closely with Carolyn to keep 4Mile running as it should out on the grounds. So for me Term 4 is just around the corner, I am throwing myself in harder than ever to see out 2020, a year where I’m happy to settle for chickens in a row and hope 2021 I get my ducks back! 11.01.2022 This is Ava riding our dear Molly. Watching Ava progress this term has been amazing! Taking everything in her stride, listening to her coach and giving it a really good go she has gone from a complete beginner, barely knowing the basics to being able to put her horse around a few jumps perfectly. Yesterday they smashed a long term goal (didn’t take them very long). Great work Ava and Montana O'Toole

11.01.2022 4Mile is closed to the public during the school holidays. Our 1:1 supports, booked in groups visits and our prior farm bookings still remain the same- HOWEVER our school horses and riding coaches are having a break after an extremely busy term 3 of lessons and before a very busy term 4. I do love the hectic terms but I also like the quietness of the holidays where I spend more time on the farm. Look what Matt and Tricia built the chickens today- a rotational Kebab feeder they love it.

11.01.2022 Our beautiful blue tree is finished thanks to Ben and a mate Michael Smith (who earlier this year received our Blue tree 4Mile family voucher when he was in complete lockdown for his birthday). This is the 4Mile Farm Blue tree, not only sending the message in the lightest hours but also in the darkest. Always shine the light for someone by just asking ARE U OK? And then be a mate and listen. That’s all. ... For those who don’t know about the #bluetreeproject Our mission is to help spark difficult conversations and encourage people to speak up when battling mental health concerns. By spreading the paint and spreading the message that "it’s OK to not be OK", we can help break down the stigma that’s still largely attached to mental health.

10.01.2022 An oldie but a goodie- someone today asked me to sum up my relationship with horses, this photo is pretty close. I don’t ride much these days but it doesn’t mean that my relationship has changed or my passion and drive to succeed in the industry has either. I just do things my own way in my own time and the joy I get from others riding all my horses is completely worth it. Look out 2021 things are about to step up, trust me
