24.01.2022 I hate seeing clients pay so much money for bags of cheap fillers because it was recommended by their vet. High price does not equal high quality. Please read the ingredients of what you are feeding your pets.

22.01.2022 WE ARE BACK! The last week we spent at a dog training boot camp, what a week it was! I spent the week learning a new system under Pat Stuart of @operant_canine. The system is about getting reliable and flashy behaviours from your dog every time. In dog training we usually get one or the other. I can’t wait to implement this system into both of my dogs as well as clients dogs.... During the week we practiced the techniques on our own dogs. I was worried about Jana as she was going through chemotherapy daily while we were there but she did amazing A massive thank you to Lisa from the @the_hound_lounge who opened her home to not only me but both of my dogs. And her husband for cooking me dinner every night! I think Jana spent majority of the time laying in front of the heater We got home Sunday night and back to work Monday morning for a busy week, we are all smashed, learning really takes it out of you I think I need about 3 weeks off to digest everything #dogtraining #dogtrainer #wollongongdogtraining #dogwalking #petsitting #dogwalker #dogwalkerwollongong #wollongongdogs #dogsofwollongong #wollongongdogtrainer See more

22.01.2022 I told Apollo is was going to take a photo, he immediately started posing. How good is puppy training Apollo has spent the last 4 weeks learning all the foundations to becoming a confident and stable dog. His mum and dad have been very proactive knowing what challenges can come with the breed and having young children in the home. We had a session prior to Apollo arriving home to discuss sleeping arrangements and what to expect the first night, toileting, crating and feed...ing. Due to their hard work and preparation Apollo has been a dream! He still has one week left of his 5 week puppy program. Do you have a puppy that needs training? Fill out an inquiry form and we will send you a information package https://www.4pawspetcare.com.au/dog-training

19.01.2022 WHERE THE HELL IS PUPPY!? Lots of people have been asking about Puppy recently. Well, very good news.. Puppy had an assessment Monday afternoon to become a search and rescue dog. He aced his assessment and was placed on trial yesterday.... Puppy is great at hunting. When he first came into my care if I would throw a sick into a pile of sticks he would alway hunt to find the same one. If I hid a piece of food in the shed he would climb the selves to find it (yes, literally climb the shelves). Puppy’s roll will either be live finds or human remains after disasters. So if a building had collapsed he would be sent into to find the people under the rubble. The fact that puppy is so small and agile means he can get to hard places. It’s pretty amazing what they can do! fingers cross this roll works out for puppy. I couldn’t have wished for a better outcome. He’s such a special dog, to have so much power, gameness and zero fear in this little pound puppy is truly amazing, I’ve never seen anything like it. See more

18.01.2022 Joy Joy’s had some pretty big paws to fill since Jana’s passing. She’s definitely not the same and we have had our challenges (most of them being her fitting on the front seat ) It’s hard not to expect the same from Joy when Jana was, well, I think pretty perfect at her role. The reality is Joy was not breed or raised to what I’m asking her to do but she’s doing a fairly good job. She still has limitations, which now limits some of my work. Most of this is related... to dog interactions. If you have an easy going, socially appropriate type of dog, we always need you! This was Jana’s main roll with fearful dogs. Just to walk with them, to wonder around without being in their face, no pressure to play, just being with them. It’s hard to find perfect dogs for this. Maybe you have one? Maybe you’re willing to let them help rehabilitate other dogs? Maybe in return for a free outing? Maybe you should get in contact... see what I’m doing here ^^^^ #puppytraining #puppyschool #inhomedogschool #dogtraining #dogtrainer #wollongongdogtraining #dogwalking #petsitting #dogwalker #dogwalkerwollongong #wollongongdogs #dogsofwollongong #wollongongdogtrainer See more

18.01.2022 Merry Christmas Everyone Lexi & Joy

17.01.2022 GRC was the sport I was competing in with Jana. After she passed away I still wanted to be apart of the sport and our club, thankfully Joy was able to step up and fill that spot, as well as many other roles over the past few months. I’m super proud of how well she’s done with such a short amount of time in the sport. She quite literally dives head first into anything I put in front of her and gives it a 100%. Joy got her SR1 title and came 1st in both drive events over the weekend.

11.01.2022 Molly How cute is the head tilt Molly has her first in-home consult last week. Her owners are very prepared and have already put in a lot of work... Molly’s owners are working towards her being the perfect cafe date. We worked on a few things that will help get her there, including; - loose lead walking to get her to the cafe - teaching alternate behaviour so she doesn’t jump in people - relaxation to keep her calm while her dad enjoys his coffee #dogtraining #dogtrainer #wollongongdogtraining #dogwalking #petsitting #dogwalker #dogwalkerwollongong #wollongongdogs #dogsofwollongong #wollongongdogtrainer See more

06.01.2022 Where to even begin.. My heart breaks every time I hear a dog trainers dog passes away. Regardless if I know the trainer or the dog, I cry every time. To know how much time, effort and love goes into that relationship, to see them just lose everything is something I couldn’t ever imagine. That changed Thursday. Thursday I lost my baby, I can’t even begin describe the heartache. Four and half years ago I enrolled for my dog training certification. For the course you needed ...Continue reading

05.01.2022 Winnie Little pocket rocket Winnie has signed back up for some more training. We saw her about a year ago but her family has recently added a new member to the family, one of the fur-less variety.... As you can imagine life has gotten quite busy for her owners. They’re wanting a little bit more enrichment and socialisation for little Winnie. We’re starting her on some training in the paddock and slowly adding some calm dogs to see if that’s something she enjoys. See more

05.01.2022 Lola & Benny How cute are these little (soon to be big) guys. Lola and Benny are siblings from the same litter.... We’re doing their puppy training together for their 5 week package however the puppies do not live together, just owned by family. We never recommend getting two puppies from the same litter or at similar ages. No reputable breeder would sell littermates to the same home. If you’re thinking about it and think it will double the cuteness, check out littermate syndrome. #puppytraining #puppyschool #inhomedogschool #dogtraining #dogtrainer #wollongongdogtraining #dogwalking #petsitting #dogwalker #dogwalkerwollongong #wollongongdogs #dogsofwollongong #wollongongdogtrainer #mastif #neo #neomastiff #neomastiffpuppy See more

03.01.2022 Mable & Rosie These two acting like the perfect angels after their session Most of our consult revolved around Rosie (again ), sorry Mable, once again taking the backseat and not getting as many treats.... Things can get a little manic when visitors arrive for these two. We worked out what Rosie’s first trigger is and began desensitise it as well as putting a management plan in place for the meantime. Similar things happen when the leads come out for walkies. We’ve implemented some strategies for keeping the pups calm and not reinforcing the over excited behaviours. Rosie is dog reactive so leaving the house already amped up can play into this. Starting the walk calmly will make for a more successful outing. Lastly we worked on how to get the dogs outside when it’s time to go to work. Going back to basics and cutting out all the fuss will hopefully make for an easier exit. #dogtraining #dogtrainer #wollongongdogtraining #dogwalking #petsitting #dogwalker #dogwalkerwollongong #wollongongdogs #dogsofwollongong #wollongongdogtrainer See more
