14.01.2022 Happy Mother’s Day ! I wasn’t sure I would share this but I think it may be that I am meant to , I have not put pencil to paper in quite some time , but this week I felt compelled to sketch this image . A little rusty but it was wonderful , as I sketched this image I was messaged by a little girl who would now be around 8 or nine , she was the child of a friend / wonderful business coach who first pushed me and guided me to Persue my business and my passion . That wonderful w...oman was also a cancer survivor and within 6 months of knowing her she passed away and left behind her two children . I was incredibly moved and felt that I needed to honor this moment , be it simply coincidence or synchrodestiny , I feel it was important to remember that on Mother’s Day there may be that child without a mother and mother without a child and they all need a little extra love today . So maybe while celebrating our wonderful mother who honestly especially now need celebrating , we take a little moment and reach out to someone we know may be suffering just a little today
13.01.2022 This was not in the plan to post , but I feel it is absolutely essential , there is a reason I used two different skins to represent my zodiac symbol Gemini Because to me , it is just that, a shell we humans all wear that is meant to distinguish us from one another , but not divide us , for too long we turn a blind eye to profiling and this belief that we can identify a person by their shell . That somehow are able to profile them by their appearance or beliefs ....and this is so wrong ...we can not remain blind and turn a blind eye to all that has happened in the past and sadly continues to happen , we are one and together we stand, but divided we fall !
13.01.2022 Drum roll ....fireworks .....get out the sparklers ....I need to celebrate ....because finally we have something new , in these crazy times where inspiration was not so great I somehow managed to put pencil to paper .....and I thought my life was challenging in 2019 ...well 2020 can just F__k right off ! But none the less here is one of the new works of mine moth to a flame greatly inspired by nature reclaiming what is hers ...I guess the times did manage to inspire me after all , let me know what you think and what you love me to sketch ...running a little low on ideas here ;-)
01.01.2022 No more than lately have I become aware that it’s the small things that make it beautiful ....the small acts that show us how special we are , the small moments , those times we stop to smell those flowers and breathe ...have been doing a whole lot of flower sniffing lately to keep going
