24.01.2022 Tasmania Trip 2017 Tasmania is by far one of the most stunning places in Australia! This trip wasn't so much of a camping trip, or really a 4WD trip. Just a holiday in the Ranger in the middle of the year to get out of Sydney, and catch up with the family.... We started in Sydney, and drove the long road to Melbourne to catch the Spirit over to Devonport. The first part of our two week trip was to spend time with family down there, and we had a blast catching up with everyone. We didn't do too much travelling while we were there, but did decide to take the 4WD for a bit of a run to see how she went. We had the bullbar and winch on, but the tires were stock - and managed to find a typical Tasmanian sticky bog that was much deeper than it looked. Suffice to say, the Ranger needed to try out the winch and ended up filthy inside and out. From there, we started on a trip to the East Coast of Tassie - heading to Coles Bay. It was a beautiful drive down - great roads and stunning
