25.01.2022 The last run for harvest 2020, we are done!

22.01.2022 A different slant on harvest. Not from the cabin of the header. Thanks to John Redden for the great photos.

20.01.2022 Ace chaser bin driver, now header learner driver Harry snapped this harvest photo tonight, at Calga.

19.01.2022 A bit of dust about tonight during wheat harvest at Calga Station.

18.01.2022 Interesting cloud formation over Calga this morning.

16.01.2022 Coco has now made more progress with her header driving. She is able to drive with her paws and now with her chin!

15.01.2022 One more wheat paddock completed, now in convoy to another paddock. A bit over 500 ha of wheat yet to be harvested and the end of harvest is now in sight! After 3 weeks of 14-16 hour days I am kind of excited, harvest will be coming to an end in the next few days.

15.01.2022 A fantastic opportunity to snap up some Calga and Uardry bloodline ewes on Auctionsplus this Tuesday. Calgara Station at Tintinara in SA, has sourced Calga rams for over a decade along with Uardry rams since 2013.

10.01.2022 A great result for the Calgara ewe dispersal on Auctionsplus yesterday. Prices ranged from $255 for 4.5 yr old poll/merino ewes to $274 for 18-19 mth old poll merino/dohne ewes. Property sold and vendor planning to lead a quieter life. We thank them for their support for over a decade.

10.01.2022 More harvest scenes from chaser bin driver Harry Sachs.

09.01.2022 More team Calga!

06.01.2022 We were so lucky to finish 2020 harvest yesterday morning, before the heat wave this weekend. It’s always a bonus when there are no smashed headers, augers, chaser bins etc A big big thank you to the team for putting in the challenging long hours and being careful during harvest operations. The team consisted of the Calga boys Jason and Cody, + casuals Craig, Nick, Harry, Ben, Richard and Jack from Caroonboon. Thank you to chefs Olivia and Prue for keeping the boys well n...ourished. Sandy Pye well done on your first harvest at the helm, your dad would be proud! See more
