22.01.2022 ATTENTION ALL. IMPORTANT UPDATE. NATIONAL CHEVROLET FESTIVAL UPDATE Hi Bowties, Its great t...o be back and it looks like there is light at the end of the tunnel as the saying goes. During the lockdown I did some work on the 50 Styleline, some more around the house and watched a bit of T.V. Boy dont the ads on TV get on your nerves, most are bad, but there is one that brings a smile. I love the AAMI add up Ship Creek near Whoop Whoop with a broken-down car (not a Chev either) The location and actors expressions make this add and it started me thinking of the 2020 Chevrolet Festival It too became stranded up a more famous creek with a similarly sounding name and it had four Covid flat tyres as well so we almost had to put the poor thing out of its misery and pass the baton on to others. However, we dug in and saved the Festival Committee, the accommodation all venues and runs, show and shine around the lake even the RACV our Major sponsor remained on board so we got the old girl humming again on all cylinders and now she is supercharged!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE 2020 NATIONAL CHEVROLET WILL NOW BECOME THE 20/21 NATIONAL CHEVROLET FESTIVAL THE NEW DATE IS BETWEEN THE 22ND and the 25TH OCTOBER 2021 STILL IN YARRAWONGA This is exciting news for Rally starved participants and spectators alike so if you have not booked accommodation check out the Club Website and our accommodation suggestion at this stage is try either the RSL. or the Yarrawonga Holiday Park first before you move down the accommodation list . If you have already booked all deposits will automatically be transferred to the new date (unless you booked outside our recommendations) so Bowties check your records. Think of it this way if 2020 was going to be super, with an extra 12 months planning 2021 will be the Crowning Glory of Festivals so mark the date, follow us in the Bowtie and on the internet. Our famous Early Birds will also kick off again in OCTOBER 2020 WE ARE BACK THE 20/21 NATIONAL CHEVROLET FESTIVAL IS BACK WE ARE BACK The 20/21 Chevrolet Festival Committee hope to see you at Yarrawonga in October next year so please mark this date in your events calendar and in the meantime stay healthy. David Shaw. for the Festival Committee

17.01.2022 2020 Virtual Camden Car Show. This Sunday, 18th of October, should have been the 2020 Camden Car Show. With Coronavirus causing us to postpone this years Camde...n Car Show, we thought why not have a virtual show. So if we can’t hold it at Camden this year, let’s have a virtual show on our Facebook page instead. Let’s see what you were going to bring this year.
15.01.2022 My thoughts go out to my old mate Gordon "Pinky" Fellows, who sadly, has been diagnosed with Dementia. Pinky has been a mate and an announcer at my events for l...onger than I can remember. Known by everyone in the car scene as a complete Larrikan behind the mic, Pinky traveled the country announcing at all kinds of motoring events over the years, and it will be sad not to hear his voice at these events anymore. His son, Billy-Joe wanted to get the word out to those in the car scene so those that know him, can understand why he isn't there. See more
14.01.2022 For those members that had planned to go to the National Chevrolet Festival in Yarrawonga, it has now been postponed until 2021.
14.01.2022 Save the date. Usually a pretty good day. Hopefully restrictions with public gatherings will allow it to go ahead
12.01.2022 Beautiful autumn day here in Sydney. Perfect day for getting the car out and going to a car show. Due to the Coronavirus, and Government restrictions, we all know thats not possible. So lets have one here instead. Please only post your car, not something you found on the internet. Lets see how many 55-56-57s we can get.

04.01.2022 Hopefully with restrictions slowly being lifted, this event will go ahead.
04.01.2022 Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, the 2020 Camden Car Show that was due to be held on the 18th October, has been postponed. We hope you all understand and look forward to seeing you at the next Camden Car Show once public gathering restrictions have been lifted..
02.01.2022 Just a reminder for club members, especially those with cars on Historic or CVS plates, your membership fees are due now. If you dont renew your membership by 30th June, your Historic or CVS plated car will be deemed as unregistered and uninsured. If you havent received details yet on how to renew your membership, please contact a member of the committee. Membership renewals this year will include a new members sticker. This sticker is a static cling sticker. It fixes to the inside of the glass by static, so no sticky adhesive to worry about.
