23.01.2022 Tonight was meant to be our gala event celebrating the10th anniversary of LWIB. We had planned to get frocked up for a great evening of dinner, music and we had a fabulous speaker booked. You would have had a fantastic evening! So while this is on hold, we still wanted to thank and celebrate you for all your support over the last 10 years. Thank you to our sponsors and supporters who believe in what we do.... Thank you to all our speakers and guests. Thank you to all those who have helped us setup events, print name tags, setup tables and banners and fill gift bags. Thank you to the venue teams for looking after us with menus and accommodating our needs. Thank you for everyone who encourages us with comments and emails to tell us how a speaker has impacted them and helped them in some way. We love to create these opportunities for you and look forward to many more. And let’s hope that we can celebrate properly in 2021 for our 11th anniversary!

21.01.2022 Always Was, Always Will Be. recognises that First Nations people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years. This NAIDOC Week we acknowledge the Gunai Kurnai people, the recognised Traditional Owners of Gippsland. We pay our respects to elders past, present and future. Thank you for sharing it with us, allowing us to enhance, protect and care for it.

Besides catching up, we spent time brainstorming how we can create events in 2021 for you to reconnect and network in a covid safe environment. If I had an extra 59 days a year I would probably work half of them to help pay additional $ off our mortgage, plus I’d like to volunteer some time to assist a not-for-profit organisation....
