23.01.2022 Social karting day! Sunday 15th November 10:00am to 4:00pm... Under current COVID rules, this will be run under the Approved Supp Regs. No Spectators. COVID Declaration & Try Booking ticket to be completed by all Attendees. Only one parent, guardian or pit crew to attend for each driver. Try Booking site is now available for Social karting event. 1. Book attendance ticket online TryBooking.com https://www.trybooking.com/BJQXD Bookings open 1st November and close 11:59PM 13th November 2. Complete the online COVID Travel Declaration https://kartingaustralia.wufoo.com//covid19-declaration-g/ Bring a Copy of declaration with you to the track Travel declaration must be completed on Friday 13th November. Only ONE Pit Crew, Parent or Guardian per kart driver. No Spectators. All attendees, driver and Pit Crew, Parent or Guardian per kart MUST book on TryBooking.com and submit a COVID Travel Declaration online. Face Mask must be worn at ALL times. Please Note: anyone who has not completed the Declaration & Ticket booking will be refused entry. 20.01.2022 A huge thank you to the Club sponsors S&S Hire in Morwell and also Michael & Tony Bantic for supplying caged trailers to remove old tyres and make a small dent in the ever expanding pile. Also so very grateful to the farmer from Drouin who willingly accepted the tyres. Round 1/ day 1 down.

18.01.2022 Hello Karters Given current circumstances, the committee has made the difficult decision to cancel our July Club Day. Due to the increasing positive COVID numbers, increasing regional positive COVID count, large number of members and officials in the high risk range, a number of officials and members in lockdown, general concerns from members and volunteers leading to apparent lack of interest from karters, we feel this is the best decision for our club at this time.... Those who have entered, your entry fee will be refunded and for those who’s entry fee for this month had been carried over, you’ll have the option to carry it over again to our next club day. The social karting days we have been holding will likely resume in August, possibly reduced to every second weekend due to the tapering off in interest. Though this is yet to be ratified. While the current environment with COVID makes it very hard to plan for a possible club day in August, holding one still remains the clubs goal. There will be no social karting event this weekend. 18.01.2022 Good afternoon Karters. Just a quick update at where Gippsland Go Kart Club is at in relation to our next club day. We will not be running a June club day this weekend but the club is working to hopefully hold a club day for July. With restrictions constantly changing and the recent move to tighter restrictions, we will keep you up to date as the last Sunday in July approaches.... Our social Sunday karting sessions will be continuing through July as they have been this month.

17.01.2022 Evening everyone. An update on track activity during the new restriction levels. Given the new measures implemented by the State Government requiring all community sports and recreational activities to stop and following instructions from Karting Victoria, all events including practice and club days, have been cancelled for August.... As things evolve into September, we will keep you updated. Stay safe, remember your mask and be kind to one another. Ross Miller, President.

14.01.2022 To All Members It has been decided due to current Covid19 restrictions that the 2020 /2021 AGM be postponed until further notice. It is our preference to have a face to face meeting and postponing the meeting may provide that opportunity. Corporate Affairs Victoria have allowed extensions to all associations for the holding of an AGM for the 2020 year, and we will take advantage of that if it means we may be able to meet in person rather than over electronic media.

05.01.2022 Our first meeting back since February was a great success today. Thank you to everyone that helped to get this meeting up and running during difficult times and to the drivers that raced. Thanks to Shannon Bright for taking some photos while our regular photographer Steve Dansie was away.

03.01.2022 GGKC will be holding our AGM Tuesday 27th October at 7pm via a Zoom call. The link to the meeting will be sent via email to all club members leading up to the night. 03.01.2022 We are Racing on Sunday 25th October so save the date. There will be practice (social karting) on the 24th to blow out the cobwebs of the drivers and karts. So make sure your membership and licence is up to date, get the kart all ready and see you at the track. Covid safe restrictions apply at all times.
