20.01.2022 What a blast our Birrung children had today with one of our incredible Mum’s, Casey from Little Fox Kits We had an amazing play dough party! We could see the excitement in the children’s eyes as they watched on as Casey set up for the morning, and once they were able to start we could see their imaginations run wild with so many creative masterpieces! Play dough never looked so good! The children even got to take home their own to play with and the fun continued on!

20.01.2022 After a week of rain, some people with children might be praying for sunshine. Not us at Cambrai! We believe there’s no such thing as bad weather- just inappropriate clothing! And we love that our families and children support this belief! There is so much to be learned from playing in the rain! -navigating slippery terrain -experience rain first hand ... -connect with nature -explore a different sensory experience - learn about properties of water through their chosen way of playing in it -learn how to look after themselves in different weather conditions See more

19.01.2022 Our Yanada children (2-3 years) have been on a big journey through their exploration of life cycles. Our learning story began with tadpoles, where we watched as they grew into frogs. We then had the opportunity to watch as butterflies emerged from their cocoons, Ducks and chickens hatching from eggs Which has now moved us onto plants, growth and propegation.... What wonderful experiences have been offered as this learning story continued to grow and develop and children were able to observe, research, hypothesise and transfer their knowledge as the educators provided many learning opportunities and extensions. 16.01.2022 Following on from the Yanadas learning story about life cycles of plants and propegation- the children have headed out on nature walks this week with their educators to see what plants they could find in our local community. In order to show respect to the land, The children looked, touched, smelt and photographed the plants they found and only took from the ground. They brought back some souvenirs and photos to share with one another and explore further.
