21.01.2022 Opening Saturday September 5, my work from a residency at Willoughby Museum looking at some of their lace collection (part of Willoughby Council's Visual Arts Biennial). All welcome! http://willoughby.nsw.gov.au/biennial/

20.01.2022 That's a wrap up for 2015! This year has been a huge one for our little museum. 2015 saw us put on our centennial WW1 exhibition *** host a visit from the Suginami City Delegation from Japan *** participate in Willoughby's first Visual Arts Biennial by hosting artist Rhonda Pryor's exhibition pLACE Marking *** and even orchestrate a trash and treasure sale! *** Cooling things off was a member's Christmas party in the backyard with Don Swonnell entertaining us with poetry rea...ding. A BIG THANK YOU to all the volunteers who have helped us along the way including our WDHS management committee - Paul Storm, Mary Thom, Terry Fogarty, Bob McKillop, Joan Antarakis, Don Swonnell. Special thanks to our regular volunteers James Jin, Alexis Tay and Margaret McNaught. We are also grateful to our dear Major of Willoughby, Gail Giles-Gidney for her constant support and visitations. Our museum team wishes everyone a Merry Christmas and a Fantastic New Year! :D ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

20.01.2022 Amazing shot looking east down Victoria Ave, Chatswood in 1940. Trams once ran up and down Victoria Ave, when Sydney had one of the biggest tram networks in the entire world. This photo would have been taken from where Chatswood Station and Chatswood Interchange now sit.

19.01.2022 Chatswood houses are distinctively known for their array of wonderful decorative chimneys! When you walk around the neighbourhood next time, have a look at the chimneys of each house ;)
