20.01.2022 We popped into Movie World for a quick visit, Charlie was finally tall enough for Batman and Taylor and Daddy got to experience the new ride. Pretty sure the only one who didnt have a good time was daddy! ALSO... PLEASE post your Justice League scores! Our family are slightly competitive and THIS is our favourite ride of all time. We will keep track of our score next time but lets just say its game on between Mr and Miss plus kids on this ride ;)

18.01.2022 Another fantastic holiday in the GC, lucky enough to get stuck in fog and cyclones to extend our trip by 4 days ;) Wanted to give a shout out to the Northcliffe Surf Club. Located on the beach 4 minutes from the Anacapri and has one of the best views on the beach. Kid and adult friendly and the meals are great, not excellent but definately value for money, breakfast is slightly better in my opinion. The kids love receiving their pack of pencils and sheet to colour in, plus they receive a free soft drink and ice block! If you join up to be a member it costs about $10 and you receiving discounts on your food and alcohol, we earned that back on the first night. 15.01.2022 Updating all the time, just put new furniture through the place, two new bathrooms, the kitchen and bench top went in last week and we are just waiting on the splash back 8) More pics next month when we see it all finished 8)

13.01.2022 Infinity Gold Coast.... Lets just say, I think I paid about $70nz for me and the kids and after 3 mins of terrified kids we said keep the money we are out of here! Each to their own but my kids hated a dark room they couldnt get out of. Like worst nightmare ever!!! will try again in about 5 years 8)

12.01.2022 RENTAL CARS: We highly recommend Gateway Auto Rentals. The owner [Debbie] is Christine's cousin, so make sure you mention our name to get looked after! If you have little ones talk to her about boosters. Our car is always waiting at the airport with a full tank of petrol and a GPS with the Anacapri can be locked and loaded ready for your 45 minute journey from Brisbane to Surfers. You can also collect the car from Coolangatta Airport which is only 20ks away from our apartment!

10.01.2022 A brand new single bed is now in the apartment, the opposite couch is a fold out double,so effectively the apartment could now sleep 7. The new white shutters that close the area up look great open and closed too .

08.01.2022 We also drove up to Mt Tamborine and although we had a great day, I probably wouldn't take the kids more than once! Can't wait to take the girls later in the year!! There were fudge shops for africa and cafes everywhere, we got really crap service at the one, but I'm hopeful it was a one off ;) The CLOCK shop is a must and there are plenty of crafty shops and wineries to make it a fun day 8)

07.01.2022 BABYSITTING: I cant even remember how many years Andrea has babysat for us at the Anacapri!... its been so long the kids expect they will catch up with there friend and she has become part of our family holiday! Andrea is NZ born and works in a cafe in Surfers. We contact Andrea and let her know the dates we are in town and work out which nights she is available to look after the kids. Andrea is very punctual and reliable and will only charge $20 per hour to look after the kids while you have a great night out. 05.01.2022 After several theme park visits we tired a few new things on our recent trip. First up... http://www.ecopark.net.au/ it took us about 30 mins to drive there and make sure you check the open days unlike us, we might have made TWO trips!! But it was worth it, value for money, we did A LOT. Low key but we were pleasantly surprised. Would love to hear if anyone else has been here to share their thoughts??

03.01.2022 Exciting news. We have secured a lock up shed in the car park at Anacapri. So in a few weeks we will put the kids scooters in, boogie boards, buckets etc and let you know the combo so we can all share. Any ideas on what else we could put in the lock up???
