21.01.2022 WA state championship 2020 Cadet12 Wild Bill had exceeded our expectations with a rocky start to the event, he made a few spots and lost a few as well. Even made a few brief top ten positions- well done young man. ... KA3 junior Donny Davis started of the weekend showing good speed. Qualified in 8th position due to a very last minute coil change out with only a few minutes to throw a lap- top effort Ryan Davis From there Donny kept working hard to work his way forward, although this trend did not continue in the prefinal and the final, with get caught up in incidents and having to work hard to come back to finish 13th overall. Was a great effort and we are all very proud of your result regardless of the incidents. KA3 Heavy Glenn Mcdougall provided a very consistent performance in his PINK frame throughout the heats, with a little luck in the final was able to pull off a 3rd place. Well done Glenn, such a great end to a big weekend WA Open Performance Greg Campbell had a consistent performance in the heats & made some set up changes for the prefinal seen the kart a little better to drive although caught in some traffic finishing in 5th - good vibes for the final! More setup tweaks - only to DNF the final, due to a fouled spark plug halfway through the formation lap & was unable to clear it. Given that Greg DNf’d the final his performance was getting better. Such a shame, as the kart was coming on & would have been a good contender in the final. Special thanks to Glenn for helping with William and taking our karts down and back. Ryan for your assistance throughout the weekend. 04.01.2022 Awesome day today for the Campbell Racing crew have had a good day across the 4 classes Donny Davis in KA3 junior consistently up front Great effort buddy Ryan... Davis Wild Bill in Cadet 12 Having limited practice is performing above our expectations still running in the middle of the pack and is battling hard but is making progress great work little man Glenn Mcdougall running consistently in fifth position on both races great work Wonky Donkey Nicola McDougall And myself, a third in heat one but after a penalty for another kart, seen me elevated to 2nd place & in heat 2 I had misjudged the start due to the field not being formed up and not expecting a start therefore missing the opportunity on the start. Managed to hold on for a third at the chequered flag. Well done to all the open competitors who completed all racing laps..................................
