24.01.2022 The Australian and #NSW governments are upgrading The Northern Road as part of the #WesternSydney Infrastructure Plan, a $4.1B road investment program. A big update is Stage IV is now open to drivers & included realigning a section of the Northern Road between Mersey Road and Eaton Road, which currently runs through the #WesternSydneyAirport site. Stage V ($170M) & Stage VI ($119M) is being #constructed by CPB.... The Northern Road is a key north-south arterial link between Richmond Road, Bligh Park and Camden Valley Way, Narellan. This approximately 5KM road connects the North West Growth Area, the Western Sydney Airport Growth Area and South West Growth Area. It also intersects other major roads including the Great Western Highway, M4 Motorway, Elizabeth Drive and Bringelly Road. 16.01.2022 A great update from my home state, following the Request for Proposal, Ellenbrook Alliance (CPB Contractors & Downer EDI Mining) & MELconnx Consortium, led by @LaingORourke Australia Construction will progress to the competitive bid phase for the METRONET Morley-Ellenbrook Line in WA. The contract is to #design, #build & #commission electric #railway with supporting systems and 5 new stations, which will will create thousands of local #jobs and establish a rail link to Perth’...s growing north-east suburbs. Ongoing work in the Hunter & Central Coast subdivisions, civil sites, etc Work on civil sites under the big region civil contractors, plus national Tier 1 & 2s.... Need LS plus VoC / SoAs, to be a top class, final trim finisher, ideally experienced on multiple attachments. Pay rate circa $36 for 1st class operators. Often the face of the company on these sites, so you’ll need to have fantastic attitude and skills. Ideally experienced on Excavator 5 13 tonne too, so LE very helpful, plus unrestricted HR. 50 55 hour weeks, though start casual & the hours can be variable at the start.
