25.01.2022 So, it's been quite a year for change - but we really didn’t want to change some of our best-loved traditions, especially when it involves fundraising and great wine! Without fee income this year, the Wine Drive has never been more important to the Group - and with great wines at great prices and contact-less home delivery available, it doesn't get any easier! For more information and to place your order, https://www.trybooking.com/BLUSC
19.01.2022 Our Venturers learning that the house always wins - it is becoming quite a study in odds!
18.01.2022 What a special treat for our Group tonight - Akela is an endocrinologist at Royal Melbourne and has also been working on the hospital's COVID-19 ward. Youth members from all our sections accompanied him (virtually, of course!) on a short tour, learnt about washing our hands properly and the different sorts of masks used in the hospital and appreciated Akela's bravery in administering his very own nasal swab and blood sugar test. Certainly an opportunity we could never have replicated in face-to-face Scouting! Special thanks to Akela and The Royal Melbourne Hospital. #prepareforadventureprepareforlife
10.01.2022 We really deserve a fabulous Christmas this year - and 6th Melbourne is here to help! The beautiful scent of a freshly cut Christmas tree, home delivered (and collected in January if you want) and knowing you're supporting the Scouts - a perfect combination. 10.01.2022 A silver lining to lockdown? All of our youth members will soon be qualified chefs - cooking has been the most popular activity in each section! Our Scouts were recently challenged to use berries in a cooked breakfast dish - gorgeous and delicious!
05.01.2022 Our youth members have been making the most of easing restrictions - Venturers threatened to shoot one of their own into the wide blue yonder, Cubs loved their end-of-year waterfight and Scouts welcomed four new members with a ride in our restored Trek Cart. #prepareforadventureprepareforlife
