21.01.2022 Two of our stunning Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) homes were officially opened on Tuesday by Senator the Hon Richard Colbeck. Emily Crescent in Some...rset is home to some of our wonderful residents who generously opened their homes to key stakeholders, sector representatives and the wider public. These homes combined with the purchase of three properties (2 in Burnie and 1 in Wynyard) allowed Multicap Tasmania to relocate all of our residents at Panorama to more contemporary living environments last year. The development at Emily Crescent represents a significant investment by the Board of Multicap Tasmania and we are delighted with the results we were able to share with the community earlier this week. Multicap Tasmania CEO, Nigel Hill would like to thank Housing Tasmania, our design team and project managers 6ty Architecture Surveying Engineering, 2BBuild and Lisa and Matt Dixon, the subcontractors who worked on the site, Waratah-Wynyard Council and in particular Wayne Flint for design work in the initial landscaping at the site, the Board and staff of Multicap Tasmania and the residents and their family members who worked with us through the transition. Thank you to all who took the time to celebrate these properties, all they offer those who call them home and what they represent in the NDIS National Disability Insurance Scheme environment.

20.01.2022 After a busy 2019, the team here at 6ty are looking forward to some well deserved R&R. Our office will be closed from 12pm Friday 20th Dec, re-opening 8:30am Monday 6th Jan 2020.

13.01.2022 We are looking for an enthusiastic learner to join our business in our civil department. We would be one of the largest subdivision consultants in Tasmania managing all aspects from design through to construction so this is an exciting opportunity to be employed in a leading firm with excellent opportunities for career advancement and high levels of job satisfaction. We would love to hear from anybody who might be interested for a confidential discussion about what we have to offer.

10.01.2022 Exciting opportunity for a Civil Engineer based in our Launceston office.

07.01.2022 The builders' sheds are gone, the greens have been groomed, the bar and pro shop stocked as members and guests begin to fill the new facilities of the Devonport Country Club. Aimed at attracting national competitions and encouraging participation among local residents, the $10m development features an indoor bowls centre and three outdoor natural turf bowling greens, as well as two croquet lawns and upgrades to the golf course. The new club house includes a sports bar, bistro and function rooms, amenities, offices and pro shop. This was a significant project for 6ty across all departments including architectural, town planning, engineering and land surveying. A fantastic effort also by the team at Vos Construction & Joinery P/L.

05.01.2022 Who’s kids are lucky enough to spend their day in this fantastic environment? This project was completed last year, but we love that we still regularly hear and see positive feedback about this facility. We’re pleased to be continuing our collaborative relationship with Discovery Early Learning Centres with other new facilities on the drawing board or in consideration. ...
