24.01.2022 Recently the 6LOGFLT Team celebrated a couple of accomplishments. CONGRATULATIONS to CPL(AAFC) Telissa Hurston for her 5 year Service Achievement. Telissa has been with 6LOGFLT since posting from 2WG, 3 years ago. Telissa's high standards and commitment to her roles as Stock Controller and USC representative is greatly appreciated and is a valued member of the team and the AAFC. CONGRATULATIONS to LAC(AAFC) Nicolass Robbertse on his Reclassification. Nicolass has been attendi...ng 6LOGFLT on secondary duties for 18 months (his primary posting being the Aviation Wing). Nicholass' great commitment to his position at 6LOGFLT and continued expansion of his knowledge on various roles (under the mentorship of FSGT(AAFC) Stan Smith, Warehouse Supervisor) is greatly appreciated. He brings a fresh prospective to the team’s functionality and it is good to see a AAFC Member give time to a non SQN position. See more

10.01.2022 On the 11th of January 2020, 6 Wing (SA) held our Ceremonial Review for the 2020 Cadet Promotion Courses. Over 100 Cadets from SA & TAS who are aged between 13-18 participated in courses in order to take on greater leadership responsibility. Each cadet worked hard in the previous 16 Days at RAAF Base Edinburgh learning Drill, Fieldcraft, Service Knowledge, Planning, leadership and Instructional Technique. Cadets lived on base and learned time management, working as a team, maintaining their uniforms, rooms and communal spaces. The parade is a culmination of skills, coordination and teamwork.
