25.01.2022 For anyone who has met my husband knows exactly what a kind and loving heart he has. I am constantly reminded of this daily in his actions, not only for us but also what he does for others. His quirky sense of humor keeps a smile upon my face often causing it to erupt in laughter. 24.01.2022 Extremely proud of this beautiful young man I get to call my son @jaydenhopewell_ for achieving an Academic Growth Award (improving his GPA BY 0.5 or more) very proud Mumma here right now and yes tears in my eyes having to watch on virtual replay just now. Congratulations to everyone who received an award and thank you to @miamistatehigh for recording this so we all get to see.

19.01.2022 Masking fluid fun today. Funny thing is I really don’t know how a finished piece is going to look until I peel off and unveil what’s underneath. Most times not all it does what I want it to do. These pieces always give me that element of surprise. Next step after drying is to tweak foreground and background. To lighten it or darken it that is the question ??? The coming days will tell. Here’s to surprises
17.01.2022 WIP first layers down on this piece I have started today. Have really missed creating in the studio the last few weeks but have so many ideas to keep me going for awhile. Another opportunity to work with this years Pantone colours- ultimate gray and illuminating yellow.

10.01.2022 WIP - It’s been a crazy last week and half so not too much creating being done but this is the progress of my last of three pieces being created for my collaboration with @marcofabrics using some of their very divine fabric collection. It’s been incredibly fun but also very challenging I have to admit, trying to incorporate fabric with my styles and techniques, to help make the fabric shine. I hope I have done them justice.

02.01.2022 A couple of pieces on the go these last two weeks. Feeling very nostalgic so why not do some trees. As the saying goes FAMILY- Like branches on a tree, we all grow in different directions yet our roots remain as one looking forward to seeing the reveal on this one as have used a bit of brass. 01.01.2022 This piece I did early on in my journey exploring alcohol ink on tile, has just been framed by the amazing team at @cheapaschipsframing. My husband has always loved it so decided to go get it framed to add to his very own art collection hanging in his office. Feeling loved. Fire By Night Alcohol Ink on tile 40 x 25cm. Purple to me represents nostalgia, sentiment, luxury, femininity and opulence.
