24.01.2022 The Riverina, NSW, recently experienced bloom in it's extensive almond orchards. This key growing area is home to wonderful growers who are part of the Almondco family. The Callipari's are one of these families and we are lucky enough to be able to share some fantastic photos of Sonia and James with their lovely daughters, enjoying the bloom period in their almond orchard near Griffith, NSW. Looks like it was a fun family day among the vibrant almond blossom. Family farming at it's best! Thanks Sonia and James for organising! :)
22.01.2022 There has been a lot happening here at Almondco in 2020! We have celebrated the retirements of long time Almondco stalwarts, as well as some long service milestone. Congrats and thank you to Judy Stuckey, Patti Lambert and Monica Courtney on their retirements and Phyl Radloff, Rock Paige, Brenton Peltz and Trevor Henwood on their 20 years and 10 years of service to Almondco, respectively :)
18.01.2022 Bloom time on an almond orchard is always picturesque! Here are a few pictures from a recent trip to Nildottie, SA, during the bloom. Long time Almondco Growers, the Woods family, showed us around their almond property. Stay tuned for more pictures of the Bloom period, as we showcase some of our other Almondco growers in key growing regions.
17.01.2022 Carmelita King was born in the Philippines in San Carlos City and moved to Australia in July of 1987, moving to Berri that same year. Before working with Almondco Carmelita’s previous employment was working at Agri Exchange and Big W. At Big W I was involved in night filling, prior to the store opening to the public. When the doors opened I was in charge of the Manchester area as well as filling shelves and checking prices" Carmelita also spent over 10 years working with Ag...ri exchange where she worked on the auto and hand packing lines as well as sorting. After many years juggling multiple jobs and driving between Berri and Renmark 4 plus times per day, as well as having to look after her 3 children, Carmelita started working with Almondco in June 2010. In the early days I worked on the value adding line, including the mealer, the dicer, the cutting line, as well as sorting on the natural line" Now Carmelita’s role is sorting, weighing the reclaim and cleaning the sorting and packing area. Carmelita recalls the early days she started her role with Almondco and remembers being very happy when she was made permanent. It’s been a really big help for me getting this job. Being able to help myself and help send my children go to university, until they have finished studying and have a job Looking back over the past 10 years Carmelitta has notice some changes. The biggest change is I’m getting older and the company is getting bigger but I’m still enjoying working and hope to continue enjoying it until the year I retire Carmelita dedication and focus working with Almondco almonds isn’t without it’s challenges. Sometimes when I’m sleeping I dream that I am sorting almonds with some in shell. It wakes me up when my hands move, sorting the imaginary nuts haha Outside of almonds Carmelitta looks forward to time spent with family and friends. Friendships is important in our life. It is good for our mental health. For me life without friends is like a garden without flowers Some recent personal highlights for Carmelita involve her growing family. When I became a Grandma for the first time with the birth of my granddaughter, Mackennah. Carmelitta also has some hobbies with a keen interest in gardening, crochet, cross-stitch and parties! Thanks for your 10 years of service Carmelita! :) See more

11.01.2022 Lane’s legacy - Co-op to remain in growers’ hands MORE than $50 million in capital upgrades, including an expansion into New South Wales and the addition of a value-adding plant in Renmark, are some of the highlights from Simon Lane’s tenure as chairman of the Almondco Australia board.
