17.01.2022 To all our clients The last 4 to 5 months have been an extremely testing time for me and my family and I had a steep learning curve, coming to grips with a personal medical condition which there is unfortunately now cure or solution for. The medici don't know how and why it happens, all we know is that I have this condition and it is preventing me form doing the tasks I used to do before. Those customer that we have left in the lurch, our sincere apologies, the last number of... months are a blur of stress and worry, visits between doctors, hospital, needles, medication, infusions and tests. Thus we as a family have been scrambling to make alternatively arrangements and try and get an employee to fill my position in order to keep the business going. This is no easy task and is still ongoing. I apologies for not communicating this earlier as we simply did not know which way it was going to go and at one stage cancer was mentioned, a huge sigh of relieve when a negative came back after a bone marrow biopsy. After a number of interviews and trying to give somebody unemployed a go at work we have a candidate in mind. The difficult part here is now because of the 4 to 5 month period of no bookings our finances are strained to breaking point. So, to employ somebody permanently is very difficult. We have an arrangement in place with our potential candidate that he is willing to start on casual basis so that we can work towards something permanent. This is where I would like to lean on your support. There is approximately 150hours available or rather open that we would like to book up with our services so that we can give our new employee permanent work. He is willing, hard working and keen. I will still be managing the business but as office staff and owner. He will report to me and our customers will receive the benefit of more support. 03.01.2022 Our new direction for 7 Day Gardens is towards an edible garden rather than an ornamental garden. As of Monday we no longer offer any of our regular garden maintenance services except for reticulation design and maintenance. Our vision and focus over the coming months will be to offer infrastructure to enable the average consumer to provide themselves seasonal fruit and veg along with herbs. What we are talking about are water filtration systems, water harvesting systems, h...ydroponic systems, aquaponic systems, vertical gardens and an online app to monitor and manage your system. We would like to offer you the expertise, the knowhow of these systems, which really is not rocket science and having worked with many of these systems on a design scale we believe we have something that will benefit every household, especially considering the ever increasing cost of some of our basic needs. Being able to grow our own food have huge benefits, not just healthy eating but also mentally, being out in the garden.
