13.01.2022 KUNDALINI YOGA - What is the point? Especially with so much Yoga around. : What is the point of doing Kundalini Yoga? Is Kundalini Yoga about sex? Is it about... having a Kundalini Awakening? Is Kundalini yoga woo woo and its just going to be sitting around chanting. : Kundalini Yoga is the feminine, creative, evolutionary force of infinite wisdom that lives inside every single one of us. Usually represented as a snake coiled at the base of the spine. Often called the ‘sleeping Goddess’ or ‘serpent power’ Yoga is one of the primary ways that Kundalini can awaken, and the point of ANY yoga practice is to awaken Kundalini. The point of Yoga is surrender of the ego-self to the Divine. So if you practice Ashtanga, Yin, Iyengar or any other forms of yoga we are all doing the same thing for the same reason - self-realisation. In Kundalini Yoga we just focus on the Kundalini energy in our spine more. The intertwining of Kundalini and Yoga = KUNDALINI YOGA. : I often see other yoga teachers and yoga students roll their eyes when I say I teach Kundalini Yoga. I hate to say it but its true! I have trained in Japanese Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Yin Yoga and when I found Kundalini Yoga it took me to where I wanted to go - back home - to me.
