21.01.2022 With the new Covid-19 lock down restrictions, we wanted to reassure everyone with the measures we are taking in practice. We are continuing with the same screening process at the door, checking symptoms, temperature and whether Covid-19 testing is requested at appointment. This means patients with cold or flu symptoms are isolated from the waiting and patients being tested remain in the car. Our reception staff are now wearing masks during patient contact and Dr Ward is wea...ring a mask when needed during consult. We are taking extra measures to clean the practice more frequently during the day. Reminder that we are still operating telehealth. We understand that some people aren't comfortable with travelling to the practice at present. We encourage you to keep in touch with us and take advantage of our telehealth alternatives.

10.01.2022 Reminder that masks are mandatory from midnight tonight, with the exception of those under 12 years of age. If you have any questions, would like advice from Dr Ward or believe you may have a medical reason that would exempt you from wearing a mask, please call us. If you would like to order handmade, machine washable masks they will be available for $10 each. Below are some photos of masks that have been made! Even though masks for kids under 12 are not required, we have still had some requests for them. Colour & design of the material will be subject to availability. If you are interested please call 5996 5566! Stay safe and please adhere to Government rules and restrictions so we can get through the other side of Covid-19 together.

09.01.2022 Dr Ward has availability for Covid-19 testing today; for active and new patients! If you think you should be tested, please call our reception on 5996 5566.

07.01.2022 New changes to our Reception/Waiting room areas, adhering to Government policies! It is our priority to ensure the safety and hygiene of our patients and staff. Some of our younger patients will notice their favourite item from our practice (water cooler) has been moved into our staff only area. We know the kids love to play with it but due to hygiene practices during COVID, we have decided it is best to have our staff control this. You can most definitely still ask for som...e water when you visit us. If you've been in recently, you would notice that we have made our entry points "in one way out the other" (with exceptions for our disabled car park & entrance for the sliding door). We ask that you please stick to this process; enter the big wooden door and be screened by our staff then exit out the sliding door. This should avoid any close encounters on the ramps as they are not wider than 1.5m. **Remember you can still visit us for medical care even if you live further than 5km - essential healthcare is exempt to the curfew & travel rules. For and questions please call us on 5996 5566. Lastly, a big thank you to everyone for embracing masks! Most patients have followed the protocols which is great to see. We do have disposable masks that have been provided to anyone that did not attend with one, or forgot it. We also still have reusable handmade masks available to purchase from reception. Stay safe and continue to follow Government advice!

01.01.2022 With the new Government guidelines around mask wearing being mandatory from Thursday this week (23/7), all patients will need to be wearing masks to the clinic. We do have limited supply of disposable masks to offer those patients who need a mask. We will have hand-made masks available at Reception to purchase within the next week for $10. If you are wanting to order a mask, please contact us on 5996 5566 or email [email protected] to discuss further!

01.01.2022 COVID-19 TESTING: Dr Ward is currently testing for Covid-19. If you are experiencing any cold or flu symptoms and wish to be tested please call our reception staff on 5996 5566. If you are unsure, we can get further advice from Dr Ward. If you are coming to an appointment with the intention of being tested, please call us first. ALL tests must be done with you remaining in your car. This is a must and we please ask for everyone's cooperation as we ensure the safety of our ot...her patients as well as our staff. We are booking appointments for the tests but it will be subject to availability on the day. At current, our Covid results are coming back within 2 days but this could be subject to change depending on demand. We understand at present there is a delay in receiving results with any Government testing sites. If you have been tested at any of their locations, we cannot speed up receiving your results.
