14.01.2022 I'm currently brainstorming running an adult class on Saturday morning (quite early for Term 4 and Term 1) and am looking for expressions of interest to see if I have enough for a class. All classes run on a per term basis (10 weeks) and are $500/term. Our program is holistic and you learn how to prepare your horse for riding and is the perfect program to prepare for horse ownership. 09.01.2022 2021 IS GOING TO BE A BIG YEAR FOR 7smiles Academy! I finally had my long awaited ankle fusion surgery for end stage osteoarthritis on 30 November and 2 weeks later when the stitches came out and full cast went on, reducing the chance of infection, I was allowed back into the stables where I belong. All the plans and ideas for offering further experiences of horses in a structured, progressive and safe environment was put on hold due to chronic pain and limited mobility.... Keep an eye out in the New Year for new classes and programs ! Some current classes still have waiting lists such as our After School program for children 8 years and over so message me to put your child on the waiting list. Have an awesome holiday period and hope to see you in 2021.

08.01.2022 At 7sA our top tier horses have had hundreds of hours of training and our students are taught from the first lesson to have a strong seat and light hands resulting in only a minimal need for the retraining of our best beginner horses. And it all starts somewhere! This is our bottom of the 2nd tier, green thoroughbred mare Viva on her second week of work with my daughter Ivy. Viva will need to move through a series of assessments and many hours of consistent training before being ridden by students. Well done to Ivy for putting in the time every afternoon and on some pretty wet and cold days too.
