19.01.2022 We have penciled in Saturday 15th August as the date for our next Charles Hotel gig. This is dependent on COVID-19 restrictions being relaxed further, allowing us to sell more than 100 tickets. We will make a firm decision in early to mid July. It will be a long time between drinks!
19.01.2022 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT After serious consideration we have decided not to proceed with the Charles gig on 19th September. Venue restrictions have not been lifted as hoped and given what is happening elsewhere in the country they are unlikely to be anytime in the near future. But it's not just about the crowd size, it's also that we don't want to put anyone at risk. Whilst there is no known community transmission of COVID-19 in WA, we have concerns that may change. We would hate to have to cancel another gig at the last minute as we did back in March. It was costly and terribly inconvenient for all concerned. The band was itching to perform in public again and this was not an easy decision to make. We have booked the Charles for 7th November and details of that show will be posted in due course.

15.01.2022 **** SAVE THE DATE **** 80s Inc - Charles Hotel - Saturday 19th September Venue restrictions in WA are set to be fully relaxed on 18th July. We have therefore set Saturday 19th September as the date of our return to the Charles Hotel. Tickets will go on sale in late July. We had optimistically penciled in 15th August but we feel there was too much risk with locking in that date. So please save the date and stay tuned for further details!

09.01.2022 We will be making an announcement about the planned 19th September gig at the Charles sometime this week. With venue restrictions not yet eased and with recent developments interstate we are evaluating all options. Stay tuned!

07.01.2022 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT It is with great disappointment that our Charles Hotel show scheduled for this Saturday 21st March 2020 has been cancelled. Despite the event falling within government parameters of a gathering of less than 500 and the low risk for those in attendance catching the COVID-19 virus, there was clearly a growing and deep concern about the event going ahead and we have responded by taking this very difficult decision. The band have worked very hard to prepare... for the performance and much time and effort has been put in organising and promoting the event. There are also costs I can't recoup. But ultimately we felt we had little choice but to cancel. Those with tickets purchased from the venue can return them to the bottle shop for a full refund. You will have until 30th April to return them. Those who purchased from Oztiz/Heatseeker will receive a refund of $25. This may take a bit of time as they are being inundated with event cancellations from all over Australia and their administration is under considerable pressure. So please be patient during this difficult time. The $3.80 booking and handling fee will not be refunded by Oztix. I did request in writing that they do this to no avail. As a gesture of good faith I will personally refund the $3.80 booking fee if requested to do so. Please personal message me via the 80s Inc page. 03.01.2022 The members of 80s Inc are part of a community of musicians and performers that is being profoundly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Now that indoor gatherings are restricted to less than 100 people pubs, clubs and live music venues throughout the country will be forced to close for the foreseeable future. Functions and events are being cancelled and there is great uncertainty about any future bookings for live acts. Livelihoods are at stake musicians, entertainers, venue staff, event staff and small business owners in our industry will be hit hard. Our thoughts are with our brothers and sisters in the entertainment industry and to all who are being effected by the Coronavirus.
02.01.2022 CANCELLED EVENT - 21st MARCH 2020 Just a reminder to those who purchased tickets from the Charles Hotel bottle shop. You can receive a full refund if tickets are returned to the venue before the end of April. The bottle shop is still trading and is open from 10 am to 11 pm Monday to Thursday, 10 am to midnight Friday and Saturday and 10 am to 10.30 pm om Sunday.
