21.01.2022 A number of weeks ago, HCC celebrated our annual Heatherton Creates week. This year, we added a the third component, Heatherton’s Got Talent. There were many creative entries and all students are to be congratulated on their contributions. Featured below are some of the entries we received, from both primary and secondary students, for the Photography and Cookery sections of Heatherton Creates.

18.01.2022 ~Remembrance Day~ Today we pay tribute to the men and women who have served and are still serving in our defence forces and remember those we have lost. #WeRememberThem

09.01.2022 ~Class of 2020~ It has been an exciting and emotional day as we honoured and farewelled our Year 12 Class of 2020 who have made such significant contributions to our College over their time with us. We are immensely proud of who they have grown to be and cannot wait to see what the future holds for them! We continue to pray for them as they prepare for exams and their future endeavours.

08.01.2022 Today we got to hear a number of our Year 5 students present speeches as we begin the process of appointing our Primary House Captains as well as Primary College Captains. It was inspiring to hear them share their ideas and vision for the future.

05.01.2022 It has been tremendous having ALL students back on site this week! Our Year 9 students utilised their time face to face to work on their Community Service projects. Students wrote personalised thank you cards and created care packages for healthcare workers and patients at Monash Children's Hospital as well as thank you gifts for their teachers all in a Covid safe manner.

04.01.2022 ~World Teachers' Day~ Though it is celebrated internationally in October, we celebrate World Teacher's Day a little later as it falls during school holidays for many parts of Australia. This year has been a particularly challenging year and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our teachers, as well as support staff, for their extraordinary work. ... As a College community, we appreciate them and are grateful for their dedication and passion!
