13.01.2022 Seeking out the lost and forgotten graves of outback pioneers. Land Cruiser Club members Mark and Debbie are also members of Outback Graves Markers Inc. A lot of work goes on behind the scenes before a Club trip to find lost or unmarked graves can start. There could be records of the graves that are marked, but nobody knows which grave belongs to who or there may be no markings visible. Mark and Debbie were approached by a descendant of prospector James McHugh to ask if our ...club could possibly find his grave. With limited information, it was a challenge that went on for 3 years. The Club did find James McHugh. Although it cannot be definitely confirmed without ground penetrating radar and DNA testing we are quietly confident we have found James who now lies beneath an Outback Grave plaque. Relatives were overjoyed and visited the site soon after they were told of the good news. Interested in this type of adventure? Our Club might suit you [email protected] F See more

01.01.2022 PLENTY of CHALLENGES during an Off Road Towing Weekend. Plenty of opportunities to learn the capabilities of vehicles and extend the skills of drivers using various types of gear and recovery techniques. Long term experienced members shared their knowledge for the benefit of visitors and newer members. It builds a stronger Club when there's plenty of variety of trips and events on offer. Thursday night (29th) 7:15 for 7:30pm meeting Belmont Park Tennis Club, Robinson Ave, Cloverdale. We could be the Club for you ? [email protected]
