19.01.2022 Heres a little description of another one of our shows, Off the Wall! The Off The Wall show are a group of adults from Mambourin Enterprises, a local day service which supports adults with disability. Throughout late 2013 the group started working on putting together a step by step process to plan a one hour radio show. They refined their process throughout 2014 taking an excursion to SYN fm, rehearsing in the WYN studio and eventually broadcasting live for the first time lat...er that year. Over this period the show has seen some co-hosts come and go with the current crew including Matthew, Ann, Bruce, Ryan, Alan, Monica, Michael and Anthony. They like to play a mix of old and new mainstream music covering the genres of pop, rock and country by local and overseas artists and keep listeners up to date with weather and sports reports, plus the odd interview with local guests here and there.

17.01.2022 John Fastuca has decided to leave WYN FM. He would like to thank everyone who has been part of this huge ride. Like all great albums, there is a final note. Saturday mornings since 1997 have been so great. Gee that seems such a long time ago. So many songs, friends, listeners, mates. ... From Fade to Grey to the Fast, Lean and Invincible show. There comes a time. And that time is here. To end things in their prime. Let’s make that clear. It’s hard to describe the feeling That the airwaves have been to me. At its peak it had me reeling Poetry in motion for all to see. It hasn’t been easy to say goodbye So many radio stories have passed. We laughed, discussed and cried. Thanks to all who made it last.

07.01.2022 For those following the Krishna Cosiousness lifestyle, this message will definitely interest you! Please let our prayer reach entire world who are suffering in different degree of life. - Please accept our heartfelt concern and prayers for those who are suffering in this planet.... - Please Follow strictly local government guidelines, currently little bit relaxing in Victoria though it’s not fully out of danger, these restrictions that promotes public safety and your safety. We look forward our entire world came out from this agony and pain of sufferings, our aim of prayers to nullify all distress and misery to all leaving entities. Our tradition teaches us that karma impacts our happiness and suffering, though devotees of Hare Krishna is full of compassion, means full of kind-heartedness and mercy for all leaving entities not just human beings. Prayers to all leaving entities is very auspisious. Rüpa Goswmi (saintly person) has given a definition of auspiciousness. He says that actual auspiciousness means welfare activities for all the people of the world. At the present moment groups of people are engaged in welfare activities in terms of society, community or nation. There is even an attempt in the form of the United Nations for world-help activities. But due to the shortcomings of limited national activities, such a general mass welfare program for the whole world is not practically possible. The Krishna consciousness movement, however, is so nice that it can render the highest benefit to the entire human race. Everyone can be attracted by this movement, and everyone can feel the result. Therefore, Rüpa Goswami and other learned scholars agree that a broad propaganda program for the Krshna is an essential tool for actual safety for human race.

06.01.2022 While we at WYN FM have not returned to regular programming, we are thinking of our community. We hope that you stay home and stay safe where possible. If you do need to go out in public, take the necessary precautions. To mask or not to mask... That’s the question we must ask. Is it about perception, what’s the task? To mask or not to mask. In the beginning it looked out of place It looked strange not to see the whole face. But life is moving at a drastic pace. It’s gone from a minor to a major case Wearing a mask won’t hurt you or I. Not wearing one might, so it’s worth a try. You’ve seen the news, seen the affected cry. It’s no longer strange or unusual, my oh my. So should they be compulsory? The call to make them mandatory Will we do it openly, freely? The question remains for you and me.

03.01.2022 Happy National Volunteer Week! To all our presenters, thank you for consistently providing us with incredible shows week in week out. Although we are all facing uncertainty during these times, it's important we thank the people who put time and effort into creating quality shows for us!
